I would definitely love this as a gift and will be making one for a friend! Great for little wedding center pieces! We can't landscape with these either as we're on the 45th parallel and they'd freeze but I love the idea of a window fairy garden! Love love love your ideas! So creative! ❤️we're in the dead of winter and I'm hungry for some garden time and GREEN! ;-)

When you place these in your home, what do you put under them for the drainage? Or do you take them say, to the kitchen to water them, let them drain, and them put them back? Just worried about the drainage getting on the furniture, etc....?? Is this a stupid question? lol
what kind of sedum did you use??? I have two pots but they are vining, can I clip them and do I have to root them first?? tks for the video you are my favorite.tks Nicky

+Norma Alcaraz That's a good idea. I don't live in an area where we can plant them outdoors, and we definitely don't have a rainy season. I will have to consult with some of my southern California and Florida friends for their advice first! :) ~Laura
Does the moss last as long as the succulents? Also, does the moss need the same watering as the succulents?
When ordering succulents do you prefer cuttings or potted?
Hihi, I saw the succulents top is browny color. Is that because it had too much sun light?

I absolutely adore your container gardens! I also LOVE cacti and succulents and mother-in-laws tongue etc. Sadly I am a plant assassin by nature not intent lol. I keep trying but I just don't have it like my Mom and daughter. At present I have only 2 cacti left and one is a BooBoo which is still protected in its little dome. I wish I could do some of these! Say do you use jade plants? Or could you do one with them as the stars? One of my all time favs. I had one for years that truly was a TREE. We moved so many times it sadly died. I have never had another but I sure wish to. I don't see them often nowadays tho.😯TY!😍🎃🎍🌵🍄

You could put a small piece of coffee filter or window screen over the hole, to keep soil from flowing out :)

Laura, do you ever have trouble tamping down around the little plants? I have an obsession with small succulent planters but I'm scared I'm not tamping down the soil enough. `
+Jazmine ThePuppy I use the end of sharpie to help me with the tamping in containers that are really packed! It usually works really well! :)
