Really enjoyed your video. Been using the Z 8 now for over 3-4 months now and love it and now also ordered the Z 6III and awaiting Adorama to deliver it to serve as a second body for the Z 8.

Great video, Sam. Thank you making it. What are your thoughts regarding the dynamic range of the camera? There’s chatter about it not being that good. I want to make the switch but this dynamic range doubt is holding me back.

Hey man, i preordered mine on june 27th in Canada. Bestbuy starting to ship on July 5th.. i was really sceptical about Dynamic range on this one. But looking at this footage looks like it’s not bad as other reviewers are saying. Love to see push- pull test of highlights and shadows in N-raw how it holds up.. while i wait for mine 🫠

Thank you man!. Currently own z6 original with atmos ninjaV.. i own 35 1.8s, 85 1.8s, couple of old nikkor lenses. I didn’t really wanted to invest in other system because i invested in lenses. Finally upgrading to z6iii

Hey there, i just traded my Zf in for the Z6iii for the better ergonomics. But… though i am not a big video guy, i just need an all a rounder camera for wildlife (flying, running, and stills) and for mostly landscape. I am not a professional, but i like good quality images so i can print and post on social media. Will this Z6iii (even though so many people say DR is bad) would it be good for a wildlife, nature, landscape camera? I don’t have a big budget, just want a camera that is great for what i do.
I think most of my photos have more landscapes than anything else, so knowing the tracking is good, for that rarity bird in flight will be great.
Yes the dynamic range is enough! Especially with the ability to have raw images. I’ve tested a zf and with the adding this new sensor the z6iii has more dynamic range. It will hold up great in about 95% of all scenarios.
I have taken on a couple of event photo shoots that were outdoors and it did great! Also super easy to edit the files.
@@itscinemasam thanks so much for responding. I guess landscapes are pretty much the overall scene for me, but if i see an occasional bird on my trips, then i know it’ll be good. Some of the RUclipsrs i see can be discouraging when they talk about this camera and its use for landscapes. Thanks for keeping it real.

Change the setting so the camera stops focusing when a face moves out of the frame and it won’t shift to the background on you in subject detect mode.

@@itscinemasamreturn it you don’t have to struggle, Panasonic s5ii has better autofocus also colors dynamic range and better overall Value.
@@alphaandomega2709 whoa wait a minute lol 😂 I’m not struggling. The autofocus has been fine, it’s not perfect (no camera is) but it’s doing good!
The customisation are far more convenient and numerous options on the Z9.
These podcaster are singing for their supper.... I've noticed similarities in their appraisal of the Lieca SL3. Which is a street and portrait camera. Not a fast elite action-sport wildlife photography /professional work. It's all %110 marketing. I have since Diss photography equipment podcasters. They all spout from the same script. That's after I had the Z8 for 2 soccer matches and a Mobile phone conference/launch. I litterally felt some Tech- digital steps back. Great size and weight though from the Z8, but for 4g,nah! I appreciate that though. It's a great alternative back-up +when tone down to a Press Conference nothing more. Oh the battery takes so long to fully charge.
