Love the pixie love the blonde color ...but it's a no on the blue! Wasn't feeling that but if she's happy /satisfied with it that's all that matters.
Generally 4C hair gets really damaged by platinum, blonde dye and the chemical straightening process. We have to hold on to every strand given what we put 4C hair through. More natural care and styles are healthier for our beautiful and sometimes fragile locks...take heed!
I think this one is a no go. Such a beautiful lady should maybe go back to her natural color for a while. Allow hair and scalp to heal. Then decide what to do next
Also, now that you’ve mentioned it, I have never seen a Sister with long platinum dyed hair!😅😅 it’s always really short (but pretty).
Maybe a wig for platinum?
Thank you for being humble enough to what some would consider a fail. Fun transition going forward
Liked the pink but not the blue, maybe a baby blue would have been better. The style is lovely. Perhaps she can buy a platinum wig for the odd occasion.
Went back to view original video for full details and I have concerns. What is the purpose of a consultation if the licensed professional didn’t even take into consideration the texture and health of the client’s hair? In no way shape or form would platinum work on her fine strands. I’m no stylist but I could tell that her hair would not do well with intense bleaching and what looked to be some form of chemical straightening. This outcome was definitely avoidable.
I agree with this statement.
I think it's helpful to mention that she had locs. Locs do so much on the hair and scalp, she needed a recovery period.
Loved the finished style minus the blue streak, the fingerwave pattern looked lovely on her. 👌🏾
I love it! I am always honest with my clients on what can and can't be done. I use bond rebuilders, such as Olaplex, to help keep the hair strong while lightening
Great info...I tired lightening my blonde one time and it didn't work for me. So I know now the lighter the color is a no no for me. Your client seems happy with the outcome.👍
No ma'am!
Nice but that blue streak was wild to me 😂
It's wild to me rust you have so many balding clients yet you keep doing stressful things like bleaching and relaxing. Women should wear their hair as natural as possible.
She didn’t like it . She tolerated it.
Yep, ridiculous
I happy you where there to save her hair.
Yea . All tht lifting strips th hair to basically nothing & it don't take long to break because it's killed dead
This is me! I'm on my third platinum pixie. My hair is thick but different textures. Most of my shedding started on my sides. The second time not as bad but by the 2nd to third wk it started. The first time it was my back and sides. Second time it was just my sides with a little overall shedding once it was unable to be finger waved. Due to getting it curled. It still overall looked nice but my sides would be my natural salt and pepper. This time around I do my hair in between my 2 wks, just washing and molding, air drying. Keeping it moisturized throughout the day. We will see.
I love the hair, more important that you are more into the health of her hair.❤
I don't like the after ...the hair does look healither when i color my hair only use olahplex to restore my hair for breakage. And shedding
i think if you added that in with the bleach she wouldn't broke so easily...i know you have your own brand but when it comes to blonde i recommend to drop the bond in the bleach and vol try it and see 🙏
Always marveled at the vintage movie stars with platinum blond hair and wondered how it was kept that way... Jean Harlow, Marilyn Monroe, Jane Mansfield.. ect....
Platinum and Ash blonde isn't really my thing but I have had light brown and red hair. I'm getting some honey/caramel/golden blond bayalage added to my hair in a few weeks so I know I have to be very mindful of care and moisture levels. Olaplex and all thr Aphogee treatments are on stand by. 😅
Crystal, blue is my favorite color. I love the blue streak. The style looks great on her face. Excellent work as usual. Peace!!
Great info. Loved the light pink didn’t like the blue at all.
She is absolutely beautiful ❤
Don't like that replacement. Yet, I do enjoy your channel.
Her hair is too fine to be bleached. Especially since she has relaxed hair.
The blue streak wasn't it. She should go darker to make her hair look fuller
I can tell you get the balm.keep all serums on hand.Go Crystal
I used to be able to take a high lift
Over 50 now
Things change:/
Have to be careful
Now that you've mentioned it, I've only seen women of color with short platinum blonde hair or most shades for that matter. I've seen highlights, but rarely a full head. Blonde is beautiful but it's a commitment for sure.
😮Crystal thank you for this video. I platinum blond my hair using Bw2 & lightner 40%. First I am not a professional And should not have attempted this process. But I thought I got this however I f**ked up bad. Ghee live and learn. Everything that could go wrong did. Now I'm a mess. Basically I just wrap my hair if I go out hopeless 😔
Wow ! I love the colour .
You do miracles to one’s hair🔥🔥🔥❤️
Hey! So glad this video came up in my algorithm. I am a Natural with Medium coarse/mixed textured hair and, within the last few weeks, decided to add honey blonde highlights. I spent close to $250 for the service at a nearby hair salon, so it is true that it is considered a “service.” Additionally, I spent the most time ever there-approximately 3 hours (prep, highlight, wash, condition deep condition & cellophane, trim & style). I say that to say, I am just now experiencing shedding. I’m not sure if it’s the normal time of my shedding (once going into Summer/once going into Fall) or if it’s the change in my hair texture due to the Highlights. I have been very careful- minimizing heat as well as using Sulphate free shampoo & conditioner, as well as Deep conditioning once a week, along with sleeping with Satin bonnets. What else could I do to maintain health, and not so concerned that my hair is damaged/thinning/or falling out?🤷🏽♀️🤷🏽♀️🧐
A Latin woman that know suggested that I should get very short haircut with spikes because of how much hair I do not have on my forehead. I am worried that if I do that my hair wouldn’t grow long again. I wish I could have a consultation with you one day.
Thank you for sharing the information
Uh my hair never did this when it went light blond to dye dark blue…odd. I also have fine curly hair but it’s full.
I personally know it’s fragile so I chose not to stress it out and thus I have full hair but have fine follicles .
But then again I don’t bleach my hair often, I just wait til it grows out and trim it regularly.
Tho, I heard from a girl of color who had light blond hair ombré was patience.
Patience is everything to be honest for blond/light colored hair. It’s do unwise to be doing this in one go, you need to tell them no and not take their money. I just hear excuses.I’m really sorry to say this.
If you want to go that light without damage. She needs to be careful and be slow with this. 😅
Interesting results at the end.
This is not a process to do on black hair. You will always experience major hair loss..the hair is basically dead at the end of the process unless you have extremely oily hair. That's always a no win on black hair. It will fall out, dry out and the hair follicle is seriously damaged, next is an extreme case of chemical alopecia 🙄🙄🙄🙄🙄🙄
Litterally so many excuses, there is barely hair on that woman’s head 😭 it’s very streaky. There is just so many excuses. She should of said no off the bat from doing this in one sitting.
Blessed Hands 👐🏾
It is pretty at first I was saying o o but it really came out pretty
Great video!
My hair was platinum for about 3 years it takes ALOT of maintenance and my hair stayed at a certain length which was about shoulder length I had got locs for about a year took those out a few months ago my hair grew a lot but I had to cut it my ends just wasn’t having it I’m still color treated just not as high of a level I’ve been coloring my hair since high school and I’ll never return to platinum unless like u mentioned I have a twa or something lol just like I’ll never return to red or green my hair was just purple now it’s blue I love color
Hi Crystal, my name is Kristy from Little Rock, Ar , I have a question about gray hair and using heat like flat irons. My stylist uses the purple shampoo and the Bantu white out conditioner on my hair. Then she blow dries it its white but once the iron is applied it turns yellow so she turns the heat down but then not a good curl. Are we using the wrong kind of flat irons? Also I do take blood pressure medication if that makes any difference. But I see you have gray hair clients and no problems. Can you maybe help shed some light on this issue. Thank you,
She should of did blue all over. That blue is 🔥🔥
That blue was terrible
The finished look is beautiful 🤩
That happen to me before to lesson learned.
SIS YOU DID THAT! GORGEOUS!!🥰🥰😍😍❤️❤️

Excellent follow up video. 💖
This is mind blowing. I am soon to be 65 years old and I never saw this. Beautiful, Beautiful. Crystal, Crystal!!!
Very interesting. However, I need your help with an order I placed on 11-17-22, rec'd 12-15-22.Received my order missing the L Super Growth Serum. At this point, I do not have the Serum or money back. I ordered your products as they have been great in helping my husband's hair grow back after chemotherapy. I would like to order more products but I am hesitant due to this first time experience. Hate to contact you but I see no other option. Thanking you in advance. Gloria Waddell
