I'm with you! I use kit lenses on a variety of Sony, Canon and Nikon cameras, primarily in my small home studio, where they offer great range, and stopped down to f5.6 the image quality is more than acceptable.
Yep! If it wasn't for the dirt cheap price of the 16-50, I'd have never even gotten into making RUclips videos! (didn't have anything wide enough besides that). I swore off kit lenses for so long when I was a beginner because everyone always tries to scare you away from using them. :)
The a7iii is awesome! I've had mine for almost two years. I don't have a ton of stuff covering the a7iii specifically yet, but here's what I got in case you want to do some learning: ruclips.net/p/PLAEjiy3SLihfrXmpnpijisunsk85R7tdm&si=R1yK4f9h3U8ZvWc9
Thanks!
Thank you so much!

@@chancetalkscameras Yeah, just go with the results, rather than what others say!
yes but go shooting nightshoot at 5.6 or portrait , F1.4/F1.8 render well better than f5.6 in bookey. otherwise for landscape it's not bad lens
What a coincidence tomorrow I am buying my first ever camera and your video pops up today,
I am buying the good old A7 iii
