I recently bought an a7iii secondhand for my wife and I, and this is the first lens we bought. The main reason I chose the a7iii was because of its boasted autofocus which will be good for capturing memories with our children (who don’t stay still for too long). When the lens arrived today, we were pretty disappointed and confused at why the autofocus was not what we’d heard of the a7iii. This is an excellent review of the cons we’ve come across. A bit bummed about the slow, noisy autofocus, but I suppose we’ll use it to get the feel for the Sony, and then upgrade down the road.

The dollar currency is a bit high in my country thats why i want to buy a6000 in 2025 i have used a compact very very simple camera for 1.5 years and then super old canon dslr for 1 years and i decided to replace it with a Sony a6000 actually i am planning to buy the body and 16-50, 55-210 kit lenses + meike 35mm f1.4 lens do you think that are they good for me or do you have any advice for me to buy another camera adjustable screen and being mirrorless are the two most important things for me btw thanks a lot for the video that's great 👍

Got a pretty good deal on a 6500 with a smallrig and fisheye aswell and i can not wait to get into filming. i skate and this is my first proper camera. feels nice to finally not use an iphone. the screen thing fortunately won't be an issue for since i- well- just dont need it to flip.

Hello, do you recommend it in general for photography of fast moving subjects? Such as cars

Good comparison. Just one mistake, I've owned the 6500 since it came out and yes, it has USB charging! I wold also say that the 6500 is better for video - just not as good for filming yourself. It has IBIS, quicker access to features with the buttons and the EVF is really good - detail is great and obviously it's great for viewing in bright conditions...

Sony A7 iv, 1/250 iso 2000 f3.2 ttl works every single time, especially helpful with more then 1 subject in shot like events or weddings. Great video!

Does it overheat and then shutdown? Or it will just overheat but still usable? Planning to get one for streaming.

The A6000 is a really great camera. The kit lens... well, not so much but gets the job done. If Iḿ allowed to say, the sel35f18 is a nice step up (not so much it it really is)

I don't know how it comes in my feed , I liked your review, it's quite amazing to know all the stuff . Zv-E10 is quite fantastic. I have seen a lot alot of videos about zv-E10 . And obviously sony is favourite. I like to do cinematography, want to create shortfilms with amazing storytelling and new concepts. Its all imagination and hope of camera which I can't afford 😖

I had this turned off from day one and all of a sudden it’s on again even if it’s turned off on my camera.

The only issue whith that camera for a working video workers is batterie life. If you wanna make money you are not in front of the camera. I think sometimes reviewers forget that. For photography is just fine.
