I really like my Gen2 burrs! They make some tasty coffee! Sweet balanced, and they definitely extract a lot higher than the 1.0/1.1 burrs. The 1.0/1.1 burrs are very tasty for larger batch brews, but I did struggle with them at smaller dosed v60 brews.

The only problem is the sound of these grinders is terrible they rattle and sound broken but they grind really well so it’s something you have to live with.

Any experience using this with drip coffee, specifically the Mokkamaster machine? What setting 6-7?

I use between 7 and 8 for my Moccamaster. But I find I have to adjust when I get different origin coffee beans

Annoying beep? I bought it for the beep!

Unless you have hearing issue. Beep sound is annoying if you can hear the grinding stopped.
