Batsu actually has a 4th version of his Level 3. If his team mate is KO'd, he'll fire a powered up Guts Bullet with rivers of tears running down his face with the ghost of his ally next to him, helping him fire said projectile. Also, still got my copy of TvC, such a fantastic game.
Fun fact about Morrigan's Super: Normally, she summons a mirror image of herself to beat the shit out of you, but in this one she's summoning ANOTHER Darkstalker character, Lillith, who is part of her lore.
Casshern's Lv3 was way cooler in the show. Go watch episode 9 of his show (1973 ver), that's where he used it for the first time. Too bad the mic didn't clip when Tekkaman Blade did his Lv3 (in the show it clipped and broke twice when he used that move)
I remember playing this game, shockingly enough. And as someone who mained Karas, I can confirm he was not easy to use. On the plus side, he was also really demoralizing to fight against just because everything he did was so freaking cool.
Oh, DAMN, never noticed that detail with Frank's L3: that triple bulldog at the end wasn't one bulldog double replayed, but actually 3 successive bulldogs. Look at Joe's health bar during the move.
I actually really like Frank’s supers because he’s really the only character in the game without any real powers yet he’s still able to go toe to toe with these anime heroes and even has a pretty good level 3 for giants considering he’s just an average guy and the move itself is the most direct reference to his home series.
I love this game...so, so much. I actually own two copies, I own the US version and the original Japanese version..I gotta have a pretty much non internet connected Wii console to play it cause after a certain update version (don't know which) it region locks out and you can't play it on a US system anymore. It had animated endings instead of static frames and some minigames to play that were cut out..there is a different character in the game that's pretty much only known in Japan as a Tatsunoko character and he's a genie. I imported the Japanese version because I honestly didn't think the game would get localized at the time I heard of it due to well..Tatsunoko not being that well known in the west aside from Gatchaman which used to play on Cartoon Network under the name "G-Force" iirc..I grew up watching that once Cartoon Network took off, it was one of their earliest shows they had on there.
Alex has two special animations when performing the Hyper Bomb, and the Stun Gun Headbutt you've completely missed. After using Flash Chop if you perform the Hyper Bomb, Alex does a series of suplexes. When performing the Stun Gun Headbutt on PTX-40, Alex uses his knee instead of his head. I've also got this game, and still own it. It's such a rare gem.
thankfully I still own the game. I just need a Wii again. I kept that and the 2 No More Heroes after getting rid of my Wii. but yeah this game needs to be on something more modern... a lot of people didn't even get to play this as is and it was a good precursor to Marvel 3. in ways I like it a bit more.
Bro can we get this game back? I never got the chance to play it and there's really no point I'm doing so now so I'd appreciate a rerelease even though the odds of that happening are hilariously low
Hey Izzy idk if you already knew this by now, but for Yatter-2's special you can actually do more damage by spamming all the attack and partner buttons as fast. as. you. can.
To think this game’s sentence is even longer than Marvel vs. Capcom 2 since you likely need Tatsunoko’s permission to re-distribute this game on another console. I don’t recall if any Marvel vs. Capcom game has ever been on a Nintendo product (yet alone a console.)
The game looks damned great despite being a low-poly Wii game. And I wish Capcom had put their late '90s fighters on the N64. Not just to fully realize the Marvel games at home in the West, but the Darkstalkers games had to deal with cut animation here. :
It does suck that Capcom and Nintendo weren’t really on speaking terms between 1997-2009. I’m not sure if the N64 could even play Marvel vs Capcom 2 (the Gamecube can though.)
@@okolo22000 Not on speaking terms until 2009? Then why do things like N64 RE2, the Mega Man Battle Network series, the GBA Ace Attorney games and Viewtiful Joe and Resident Evil 4 on the GameCube exist?
@@CarbonRollerCaco Well I was referring to the situation metaphorically, of course there were some games that were made during that time but because the N64 was still using cartridges and the Gamecube had smaller discs plus wasn’t selling well made things difficult for companies to make games for that system (unless they were made solely for that system.) I wasn’t including the Gameboy or 3DS when I posted that last comment.
i played this before on the wii. megaman volnut was my favorite character...only because i liked megaman legends. because megaman volnut is terrible to play with. lol

I mained both Tekkaman Blade and Karas. Neither easy to use, but very worth it.

Blade's Voltekka is what got me to buy this game, shoutout to Super Robot Wars J
I'm a Mazinkaiser and Zeorymer main

Welp, shoulda been there to tell us
@@IgnantRizzyOld Eh, I'm not upset. Just thought I'll let you know. Looking forward to the next Rate the Super.
Agree at 9:25; Genmu Zero is effective in MvC3, but for presentation and style, Dark Hold >>> Genmu Zero.
and it's a JoJo referencee
If this game was on every console it would of went popular
Tekkaman blade has the best super, hands down. 11/10
of course this game is only on the wii,Capcom won't get us get any of the marvel vs capcom games so this is their way of making it up to us lol
Now I'm mad Lilith doesn't show up in MvC3 or Infinite.
Doronjo really having that Supreme Evil Plan tho 😨😨
Lilith was a nice touch instead of the double morrigan.
The first time I picked it up back in 2009, my team was Yatterman/Tekkaman.
10-win streak, first attempt.
That game got me watching Tatsunuko anime. My favorite is Hurricane Polymar.
Fun Fact: Joe The Condor's Battle Stance is basically Miguel's Stance from Tekken

Marvel vs Capcom 3 is really fun, but Tatsunoko vs. Capcom looks more hype tbh (especially with the supers).
@@Formula_Zero_EX because of the wackier roster, it can get more hype in ways. it's a damn fun game
My favorite super is the hyper bomb from behind. You know, the one you didn't show? KAPPA
Yo shut up LMAO
Why hasn't that always been Morrigan's super in versus games 🤔
Batsu's is 10/10 when he is alone.

I still got this game. Bastu, zero, and tekkaman blade were the best in this game
Nice vid rizzy keep it lit bro
9:37 JoJo Refencee
Y2's you can mash for more damage!
These supers are so good :0
You had to mash the button for yatterman 2 super.
