Hi I purchased a red one in April to go to and from work. I noticed my the rear suspension preload was wound right off so put three turns on both shocks which stopped the suspension from bottoming out as felt by you on this video. Its good for 53mph within 100% to 92% battery. 49mph between 72% to 91% then 46mph down to the low power cut which restricts to 30mph at 13%.
Ive done 498miles now love it. It pulls away fast from traffic lights and goes well. Im a full licence 50 year old rider with a superduke so believe me it goes well for such a small package and i purchased another charger for £244 so can charge both batteries from 30% in 1 3/4 hours. Range i get in mode 3 riding as i would normally 40miles from 100% to 13% alot of wide open throttle though. Great video.
From where did u get a second charger?
It actually makes more sense to me than the uber expensive full on electric bikes. Got a city or town commute then it looks OK. My problem I'm 6ft 3 and about 20 stone, I might reduce the range! (And look a bit daft riding it)
Nice review! Really laughing about the noises you make after 16:45 hahah keep up the good work 👍🏼
Putting your nuts on the line to get a review done... now that's commitment !
Always! 😂
I don’t like the fact that most ev bikes want to use there own standard to charge it should be law that all bike comply with ccs or type 2
Probably taking on the dual carriageway was a bit optimistic. For city riding, though - and at that price - it not a bad option. Especially with petrol being so bloody expensive. But, then again, we don't know what we'll be paying for electricity in the near future. I think the best option for cheap transport is the Honda CB125F. The 2021 onward version gets, by all accounts, about 180mpg UK. Plus I've seen one video where a bloke was teaching his wife to ride and was getting 209mpg - which, with the cost of the bike new ( about £2,800 ) is almost certainly cheaper than buying electric - and no range anxiety. Win Win.
That dual carriageway is actually a 50 limit for that entire section. Not that you'd ever know it! Yes CBF125 is excellent. I had one, if you check out my first few vids that's what I was riding. On a full license too! 😂
I'm impressed.
Thanks for the review.
It looks amazing!
Most of my shopping and getting around is within twenty miles or so round trip so this would be very handy except this is not available in the US that I am aware of
Great review, thanks for the posting. I like the bike, it’s obviously not a country tourer but for short trips around town it makes a lot of sense. It’d be nice if it had more onboard storage though.
In that case look for the sunra robo S which uses the same motor and battery, but they are under the floor giving enough space for a full face helmet under the seat
The “cinematography” is amazing as always! Your video openings are in the top 5% of all RUclipsrs! To me, anyway. Please keep doing the seat height comparisons where possible with the ridiculous and cheeky looks to camera. My Mrs bursts out laughing when it comes on. And then we both end up laughing like sad monkeys. 😹
Haha thanks Graham. I'm a sad monkey too so it's all good! 😂
This should not be called a scooter. It should be called an electric motorbike or motorcycle. Great video. Thank you .........Sal : )
You tell 'em Sal!
I Really Like this Scooter 🤩
I had a Honda 50 in late 1960s that did seem vulnerable when next to a truck at the lights!! For local roads short trips it seemed OK if a bit basic..
for city riding its brilliant and not to expensive kinda nice sweat spot
I have one of these and the power doesn't roll on, it is like a kick so it takes practice. I ride it on a small island, I have put it in mode 3(80 kph limit) only once. Going that fast is a bit crazy here.
I have not been able to find the app to download onto my android phone. Can you send a link?
actually looks way better than most scoties....
vry beautiful bike
This thing looks funky as. Makes me think of an Electric Honda Navi. This is the type of mini Bike which I would love here in AUS. If it was the right price overall I'd get one for sure. This or a SuperSoco TC Max but I feel that this bike is for a different purpose.
So for the price and cost of fuel alternate. Which one will benefit me more.? Compared to a petrol bike in the same price range
Similar to the bike, I won't keep you in suspense - it's not for me. I need more suspension and a 65 mph top speed. And 100 miles range.
I think this and the ronic which is basically the same drivetrain in a retro italian scooter skin would be great for someone living in a city center. Especially with the ability to pull out the batteries and take them up into your apartment or work place to charge. It's not that much more expensive than an ebike with much better ability to keep up with city traffic. Oh and it probably has reverse gear because its very easy to just spin the motor in reverse.
Edit: I would much rather buy something like this vs a zero just down to cost.
Have you checked the indicated speed against gps?
Introducing the all electric Husqvarna CB650R 😂
😂
Interesting 🤔
👍🏻👍🏻👍🏻
Türkiye'de uygulamasını nereden indireceğimi bana öğretirmisiniz lütfen, yardıma ihtiyacım var.
Adventure version would be a lot of fun. Wish the empty space was filled with in-seat storage or more batteries.
is the bike available in the usa? & how much?
I drove 30 km and the brakes and the rear tire are broken. The vehicle hardly springs and there were some electronics problems. The battery cover also jammed. No spare parts available and the dealer needs several weeks for a repair. Too bad, I'll give it back.
That's a shame.
Is there any point to a yearly service on electric bikes, what would they change if there isn’t oil, oil filter’s or air filters or spark plugs etc?? Do they need one to maintain warranty maybe?
You have to change batteries after about 3-4yrs, thats all. I've been using e-scooters since 2015
This seems like a perfect city scooter! Do you think there is actual potential for big electric bikes?
Tough one to answer, I am sure there are some already that are great to use but I'd need to ride more of them to make an informed decision.
I think it's a fun little thing.
Thanks Dan, I agree!
Sounds like a 100% Chinese designed bike! Shame as small electric bikes could be very approachable by many bikers if they had a half decent top speed (80mph), so cruising at 60-65mph is able to achieve 120+ mile range and cost under £5k.
Will you review the MT-09 SP 2022?
Sadly Yamaha's are not willing to let me ride their bikes.
👍🎬 16:17 😂 Grüße aus Wolfsburg / Germany.
Give me my two stroke Vespa PX 125 any day 👍
Super soco
Tinny little city 🛵…Price?
Could be a great little round town commuter. Not so sure that I’d be happy on the duals! 😲
Yeah duals was sketchy!
At least it seems to be fun.
These petrol prices are changing Dan
You're telling me!
Nifty little thing.
My favourite word! :)
Sunra miku super
Nope. I am not opposed to Chinese motorcycles but in this case they clearly have a lot to learn. This bike could be useful as a cheap e-bike alternative, but it is far worse and less practical than even a low end 125cc scooter or motorcycle.
Worse in what way?
@@MarkGelderland Pretty much in every way. I would prefer a scooter version of this bike - it could work quite well in smaller cities. As ot is, I would struggle finding a use for it.
@@johngreen1060Sunra makes a stepthrough version that is almost exactly the same specs. But if you can buy a Simple Energy One where you live, I would check it out. Its specs on paper are pretty remarkable for the price. BTW, I m picking up my blue Miku Super next week. I live in Malta(Gozo) and can't wait!
😂 oh dear.....say no more 👍
Ok. That's not for me. Thanks for the review.
What makes it a scooter and not a motorcycle?
There's a few definitions that are generally agreed upon, but it seems it's still up for debate. Small capacity, twist and go throttle, no clutch, step-through design (even though this doesn't have that). For me though, it's size and engine capacity. Although some would argue 'moped' is the more correct term, even though that just means 'motor' and 'pedal'. In this instance, the manufacturer calls it a scooter, so that's what I'm going with.
@@Englishbikerdan Thanks, although for me, personally, swinging a leg/no step-through makes it a motorcycle for me. The Honda NC750X, for example, I wouldn’t call a scooter. Anyway, great video!
@@Englishbikerdan Personally I would say if the engine is directly mounted on the rear swing arm then it's a scooter regardless of the bodywork attached to it
Those wheels are far too small otherwise a decent commuting solution.
Wouldn’t take it even as a gift
Looks like a small husqvarna
Give me me two stroke Vespa PX 125 any day 😀
Is fine for putting around town, terrifying on highways. At 1,92 i pass, maybe if i ever join the circus 🤡
I'm 1,75 and it's small for me but very practical on Gozo, Malta.
This is a city bike. Perhaps the reviewer felt safer on quiet country roads. A more realistic review would be in town
Safer? Did you miss the dual carriageway bit!!?
@@Englishbikerdan Heh heh! Yes, that did look quite scarey.👍
@@hunterfunter47 It was not fun! It would have been sensible to ride this around London but sadly, I live too far away from there. Plus, I'm rarely sensible! :D
yes ? what the shit ?
i mean it looks awesome but there s no way it s cheap enough to be worth a look.
My e scooter is faster only thing is I'm constantly looking over my shoulder for police as their illegal on road
Naughty! 👮
