- China's no.1 EV brand, #Sunra, has launched four small capacity #electric #scooters in the UK with two styles of 50cc equivalent and two at 125cc level. The larger two have two batteries and are known as the MIKU Super (the more Monkey bike looking machine which you'd straddle) and the ROBO-S, which is a more conventional scooter style. Both are less than £3500.
BikeSocial's Michael Mann spent a bit of time with the budget-friendly, economical pair in and around Milton Keynes.

the only way EV motorcycle/scooter can flourish is cheap and affordable, not some super luxurious 15,000+$ EV motorcycle
Those blue led night lights will attract the plod too.
Cool r/v. Am looking forwards to electric bike tech advancing.
I found the music too loud and your voice too quiet though, don’t know if anyone else found that?
Got a Super Soco CPX dual battery, goes 57mph with a 84 miles range (gear 3) and I'm very happy with it!
Just no. ruclips.net/video/U_G7L_V_ZsQ/видео.html&ab_channel=KnoxArmour
Why not show how to remove the batteries and say what the batteries weigh?
Loving the black Miku supra can these be purchased on a monthly fee or £3500 buy now ?
What's required to ride these on our roads as a new rider ?
How high is the seat? I am only 1,68 m small
Whats the Speed on The blue 125cc
Lol blatantly tried to rip off the Husqvarna Svartpilen with the headlight, looks decent but soon as you mentioned Chinese I lost interest 😂
Indeed... got the same feelings about the Chinese bikes, electric, or ICE.
@@johnnyblue4799 Had 2 Chinese bikes when I first started riding, both had electrical problems, cheap parts that would break all the time, speedometer lights would flicker, they were a nightmare, probably spent more money and time fixing them than riding them lol
@@ReevyMotovlogs I heard that story a few times already, from different sources. Enough for me to say no to Chinese bikes...
Is this a review or puff piece for Sunra?
Why is this not sold in the USA?
Those music volume levels!!!! 😬
4hp is about 50cc engine equivalent. no thanks. Riding an underpowered vehicle is really dangerous.
in US where city is build to accommodate big Car, yes is dangerous
in EU city speed is around 30km/h to 50km/h , 18M/h~31M/h, 50cc can go faster than the speed limit in city
This example is a 125cc equivalent with around 4bhp and 25nm. It wasn’t left wanting on the Milton Keynes dual carriageways but I’d mot be heading to any motorways. 0-50 takes 8.5s.
The Miku has regen, so I believe. I hope to god what you experienced wasn't mimicking engine braking. That sucks. It also wastes power because you don't get all of it back from the battery. Regen should only ever come in for braking. Same goes for cars!
Not fond of the hub mounted motor, just not sure it can take the beating. . .
Looks so similar to the Super Soto. Had one for a few months. In the capital, moving through traffic, etc... Fine. I mean, you get what you pay for.
Nope. Just nope.
But I would be interested if it was in a similar class to an SV650/MT07, had decent range, fast charge time, and maybe cost £10k.
It looks like a KTM Duke 390, Husqvarna vitpilen & a Honda CB 300R had a baby
Ripped off Husqvarna in not-a-bad way.
So fun to be first

Charging chinese batteries indoors, what could go wrong.
It’s weird that bikes designed to ride in town, aka, pothole and road humps everywhere - have hard, spine shuddering suspension.
Agreed - but the posher spec suspension costs money.
The robo s is an exact replica of TVS iQube.
Too expensive. Lexmoto Cypher is half the price and still does 50mph.
FFS, get yourself a pedal bike instead of this and do everybody, including the environment and yourself, a favor.
