This is a nice discussion, but I wish that these guys went into more detail about the severity of their prostate cancer.

This is a BS discussion. No hard answers, PSA or Gleason discussion. Glad to know one person hugged their doctor.

I am new comer to this cancer and am looking for more information on the outcomes and the future healthy effects of those that have had this treatment. For anyone having been told this type of new it is extremely scary and alarming. We need to know as much as we can and sometimes it seems these small videos are nothing but advertisements towards a specific treatment. I don't mean t say these men haven't been through the wringer and had to deal with some horrible thoughts along the way. But for those of use now going through this nightmare we need more then just a short commentary on your treatment that was done by the hospital that is promoting this video. So my comment is more towards the hospital then those on the video. Doctors and those in the medical field in this country as well as other countries became such because they wanted to save lives and help their fellow man live and not suffer. It seems the humanitarian label of being a doctor in today's world has been stripped away and taken over by the once again greed of money and to make matters worse they are using the some people the claim to want to help for advertisements for capital gain. So put down your money ledgers and pick up your not book and start giving those like myself real answers and real reasons why something works. People are people no matter where they are on this planet and no matter what social status they may come from and we all deserve to now the truths and quality of a program , treatment or therapy for their deadly disease. And thank to those whom took the time to read my rant. May you all find your purpose fulfilling in your journeyer towards what ever goal you are after.

Hyperthermia is the only treatment that is non toxic but very hard to find. My husband has stage 4/5 and it has helped him a great deal

Is this a conversation or a commercial?

Penn offers proton therapy, so its a commercial. While proton therapy is not more effective than normal radiotherapy, its much more profitable. That is the primary reason Penn and other proton therapies prefer proton therapy.

Terrible how surgery is at the top of list for treating prostate cancer. Even after removal cancer can still return
