Wow... mind blown 🤯 It was unique to hear that Allett has their blades precision to where it doesn't hit the bed knife yet still cuts grass like butter. If it hits, it's too close
Great comparison. Given the frequency of mowing (and I know you mow out of enjoyment and not only necessity) , but I bet your neighbours love you now with a much quieter mower. 😀
Ron great video, all of your reel mowers sound awesome. The Allet really sounds quiet to the ear. Great presentation. Thanks for showing this comparison.
Very cool comparison Ron , the Greensmaster was quieter than I expected but the battery Allett is extremely quiet. Certainly more harmony with the neighbors for those early mows. I wish I had the funds for a battery Allett of that level to rotate with my older Allett Kensington, the C27 looks like a beast. I have a battery snowblower I use for mostly small snowfall amounts , very late or very early snowblowing or if i run out of gas unexpectedly. Would love to have a battery mower of that level.
Huge difference in sound. I'm sure the video doesn't do it justice just how quiet it is in person. Significant difference from the two gas mowers. I was surprised at how quiet the Toro was in comparison. Looking forward to the full review of the Allet.
In person, it's even quieter Charlie. You were hearing 2 microphones. One that's on me and one mounted to the camera. When you're behind the mower, it's even quieter.
I had the opportunity to visit TTI (Ryobi) yesterday and asked if they will be introducing a battery reel mower. They said that they will be trying to develop one but it won’t be for quite a while. Impressive facility though. Got to test out a bunch of fun new toys they had there.
You walking through the grass was louder then the c27 itself. But let's not forget. Only took pull on both gas powered motors. Now that's a well maintained and built machine.
Man, aint nothing like battery powered...😂...everytime i cut my lawn with my ryobi lawnmower i get such a feeling of relief not having to hear a loud engine....
Yeah and it's nearly double the price of the other two don't know if that's enough for me to want to fork out that kind of money, what's the run time, time to charge and what do extra batteries cost? That's what I'd like to know...
I have been using a Kobalt 80v for 3 or 4 years. There is no comparison as far as noise. I love the mower but I don't know if I would recommend a battery electric for someone that has a lot of grass to cut. It is fine for the average size 1/3 acre lot. I will usually use both batteries to cut my yard.
I hear you Dennis. I guess it depends on how large your lawn is. I'm able to make 4 passes over the back lawn on a single charge. That's approximately 36k square feet. If I were only mowing, it would cover even more.
You’re listening to 2 microphones Papa Mows Low. I’m wearing one and there’s a shotgun mic on the camera. I didn’t adjust the audio levels for this video so you guys would hear exactly what it sounds like.
And I like the smell of 2 cycle or REC gas smell .... electric are fine for some things like small yards.. but wait until you need to replace battery in few years. That's where they got you... like battery drills... I have one like new 10 years old... needs new battery... repair place says throw it away... new battery costs 3x of a whole new drill....I see mowers and stuff going same way in few years...

Love how he tossed the ear protection before starting up the C27. 🤭. Show off!
Hahaha
I live for these nonchalant, no frills, no commentary videos. Simple, informational, and to the point. Also..........relaxing 😴
Thanks DJ Smooth
@@RonHenry also surprised how quiet the greens mower is compared to the Tru cut
Great video . The C27 is super quiet. Battery powered lawnmowers are the future of lawn care . I can't wait until I get my Allett Sterling!
You'll like it ejm!
The Reel life is real. Good video brethren.
Thanks for watching David. Appreciate it.
Wow... mind blown 🤯

Pretty big difference eh?
@@RonHenry amazing!

You’re right Shazia. Though I’ve not heard them really complain.
Wow that is a really significant difference!
Yep. If sound is important to you, it's tough to beat electric.
I chuckled once the Allett came on... 😆.
Sounds like an RC car
☀️Toro was pretty quiet for gas. Cool video!
Yep! For a gas mower, very quiet. That’s why my neighbors don’t hear me in the morning. 😎
Ron you gotta let the grass grow back before you mow it 😂
It’s tall though!
I would love to have the 20 inch I just need some donations... 😂 Love that it is super quiet I would love jammn to my favorite tunes.
Nice Garland
You have 3 mowers Ron! Wow! You'll be handing the C27 to your grand kids.
Quite possibly Arjun!
Ron great video, all of your reel mowers sound awesome. The Allet really sounds quiet to the ear. Great presentation. Thanks for showing this comparison.
You bet Ogsan1. Now when someone asks about the sound difference, I can say, "Go watch this!" :-)

I haven’t heard a JD in person but the GM is very quiet. As expected the C27E is even quieter.
wow. Top notch video. No nonsense - does exactly what it says on the tin.
Thanks Joseph.
The Toro isn't bad, but the Allett is amazing.
I love the Toro. It's insanely quiet for a gas-powered mower. The Allett is next level though. It's even quieter behind the mower.

The winner is in … change is good.. like the new mower sir… sell those others to offset cost and your good
I don't know about selling the others just yet John. They still serve a purpose.

Sounds like a fun time Jordan. I imagine they'll eventually get into the reel mowing game.

I do my best to take care of them Twotrilla1
Hey Ron did you just take off your ear protection before using the allett.. I THOUGHT SO ..✌🏾😎. Gotcha!!!!
I did Darrell! You don’t need it. You could walk next to me while I’m mowing and we could have a conversation.
@@RonHenry 🤣. Gotcha
Man, aint nothing like battery powered...😂...everytime i cut my lawn with my ryobi lawnmower i get such a feeling of relief not having to hear a loud engine....
I am getting spoiled Marquies
Wow that thing is almost whisper quite 😳
It is Rio. You can literally walk next to me and have a conversation while mowing.
Wow…what a difference!! Now if Allett would just come up with a trade in program if we wanted to swap out mowers 🤔
Keep asking. You never know Chrisdadda
I’m sure your neighbors loves that c27 haha
They definitely won’t be able to hear this one!
You and @projectfarm need to hook up for some real world testing, to quantify results of these comparisons
I'm down Asa.

All of that will be answered soon in the C27E Evolution video Jon. Stay tuned!
Hey Ron, would like to know your thoughts on the Allett, thinking about buying one the smaller battery powered
Full review coming soon!
@@RonHenry thank you Sir, looking forward to it

Now you can start to mow at 5 a.m.)
Oh don't tempt me! 😂
Great video, EARMUFFS TO THE SIDE PLEASE, IS IT ON, OR EVEN RUNNING??😭😂😂😭😂. THANKS
It's definitely running Eric!
And you don’t smell like small engine exhaust fumes. That’s the real plus with the electric
That’s true too Jerry
Wow! Toro is very decent for a gas powered, the TruCut sounds like an old Mack Truck
Agreed. The Honda GX engine is a tank though. Can't kill them. :-)
Message received! LOL!
Boom!
toro was impressive
Quiet right?
The Allett is definitely quieter.
Much much quieter for sure gfree
Actually, I thought the Allett would be a little more quiet.
You’re listening to 2 microphones Papa Mows Low. I’m wearing one and there’s a shotgun mic on the camera. I didn’t adjust the audio levels for this video so you guys would hear exactly what it sounds like.
I still like my gas powered mower. I can’t be convinced yet to go electric.
I hear you El Oso.
Not even when gas is $5/gal?

Chalk and cheese! 💚
Pretty big difference eh?
@@RonHenry can’t wait for my 51 Stirling to arrive in September! It’ll be the first lot to arrive in Australia 🇦🇺
Awesome Alan. You’ll love it.
1st🏆 - C27 sounds like an elevator. 😂😂😂
Or an RC car. 😂
Haha! Don’t forget your headsets!! 😜😂
Gotta wear your hearing pro Edwin!
Wow
Thanks for watching Bryan.
Should have started with the Allet. I can't hear anything after the Tru Cut. Jk.
Hahaha. That's good McNasty
Quiet mower !!!
Super quiet Gene. It's even more-so in person.
And for 8k your neighbors will be happy….lol
For sure!
*insert shocked cat gif here*
Noticeable difference eh Jorge?
Not surprised considering combustion engines. 🙏 Electric for the win.
For sure Andrew. Still fun to show how much quieter
But how loud is the cussing when you realize you forgot to plug the electric one in and its work time? 😮
That would be frustrating Primer. I try. tokeep a fresh set of batteries in it and another set on charge so I'm always ready to roll.
I can mow my grass at night without disturbing the neighbors with my battery... can't do that with gas
That's definitely a bonus Steven!
😳
It's quiet.
