High School Fire Alarm Test (EST Voice Evacuation)
HTML-код
- Опубликовано: 8 авг 2018
- Test of a Mixed System. The old parts of the building use old Edwards horns and one Spectralert Advance on continuous. The newer parts of the building use the new Edwards Genesis speaker strobes with the default slow whoop.
If you’re looking to grab an audio extract of the message, 2:29 is the best place to do it.
Whoever set the Spectralert Advance to continuous, we need to have a talk in the back. Just you and me.
Don't change it. Continuous advances are rare in the field.
dude I don’t understand how you can handle being in a fire alarm for 4 mins I can’t even handle being calm for 2 seconds in a fire alarm. You’re very brave
This was that school that went on lockdown because some kid said someone had a gun as a joke lol.
At least that kid wasted the Police and the schools time. I think he got arrested for that
Wow, to me, it's incredible the size of the building, I'd get lost!
This is why voice evacuation systems are used. Eventually, they are going to replace all the horn strobes with speaker strobes and install expansion amplifiers to make sure that all the speaker strobes have sufficient sound output.
0:09 made me jump out of my chair
Those hallways remind me of Outlast 2.
Who thought a 555 timer connected to a speaker could be so terrifying.
This building will burn down in 555 seconds
That Spectralert Advance in the beginning was likely replacing one of the old Edwards 892 that might’ve died at one point
Or should've used the EST Genesis speaker strobe but probably couldn't since it would be a pain because they would have to run more speaker wire to that area which would be a waste of time and money so to save time and money they just replaced it with the SpectrAlert Advance horn strobe but it is still unknown why it's set on continuous and not code-3 as it must've been set on continuous by accident
@@joeycaridi3030the advance is set to continuous to match the est 892 other horns
Before 0:09 HOW DID THAT NOT SCARE YOU THAT WOULD OF SCARED THE SHIT OUT OF ME IF I DIDN’T EXPECT THAT
Imagine this, You're the janitor at the school, it's the final day and there are tons of messes. You stay late and all of the sudden, the lights shut down. This alarm goes off and all you hear and see are flashing white lights and "There has been an emergency reported within the building, leave the building immediately using marked stairways and exits." You run around the corner to get out the building and... You see a dark figure with a knife. He's walking slowly.. and.. you know what happens next.. right?
I love this vedo omg
My school has the same alarm it only does that slow whoop not the evacuation message that goes along with it UGH THEY SHOULD HAVE USED INTEGRITY INSTEAD
The advance at the beginning is painful
theryanm9999 If it’s in code 3, it’s not too bad after all. The 3 half long second blasts with a half second pause in between each blast and a 2 second pause is a sound synonymous with a fire emergency since the 1980s and became popular with commercial fire alarms since the early 1990s in a North America. The slow whoop tone in a speaker strobe system is also a synonymous with a fire emergency. A continuous tone Is synonymous with gas leaks, fire extinguishing agent release, or a Tornado not fire.
David Perry 1 Second pause, but agreed
O. thanks 😮f. Oo: Orr 9
I think Spectealert Advance at the Beggining is painful because it's on high volume if it was on Moderate or low volume I don't think it would be too loud
This type of alarm (EST Voice Alarm) could have made high school a bit easier for me. I had to deal with the Siemens U-MNNT.
S a m e
Me simplex alarms elementary school Edwards mini horns in middle school high school same simplex alarms
For me elementary wheelock bell wheelock as n ummt middle wheelock mt and est genesis horn high school gentex commander 3 and system sensor voice evacuation
Mr fire freak 2002 oh and storefront post high school Edwards bells and college mini horns and voice avacuation system all Edwards I believe and bells wheel-lock and est genus horns
My school has wheelock zns’s set on full volume with horns in the classrooms and bathrooms...it’s awful
Nice! A very interesting system!
What alarms sounded off at 00:07
1. Edwards Genesis Speaker Strobe playing the EST Voice Evac Message
2. Edwards Pre-Integrity
3. System Sensor SpectrAlert Advance
No pre-integrities here. It is an 892, specifically the one that uses a piezo instead of a speaker to output the tone which you can tell because of the solid and crispy tone. That makes it an 892-6B-001
@@SirensAndAlarmsOfNorthernIL was this the school that went on lockdown because a student made a threat about bringing a gun?
Wish the school had a Thunderbolt 1003 and a fallout alarm in case nuclear fallout has reached the school and you have to seek shelter.
THIS RESLLY REMINDS ME OF SCP CONTAINMENT BREACH!!!+
This High School Some Of The Building Has The Horn Strobes. And Some Of The Building Has The Speaker Strobe.
That is a cool fire alarm AND LOUD
This is t e r r i f y i n g
Nice fire alarm system
My friend Tyler is really scared of fire alarms. fire alarm will eventually make him cry, but he doesn't like loud sounds at all. I know for a fact that most SDC students don't like extremely loud sounds.
At camp bloomfield, jr. blind of america, the alarm has the sam sound, the anounceator is different. It says,”fire alarm, fire alarm, unlocked, 50 seconds. It continiously keeps going on until everybody is out in the lobby.
I hear 892-6B's in this! That's awesome they still have some of the vintage left
for all the people saying spectralerts make there ears bleed, i can confirm that is slight bc. They are not terribly loud though they do vibrate your eardrums. at my apartment there is a spectralert advance on continuous in the next corridor. I opened the fire door and got my ears blasted. worth it, but they dident bleed.
THAT FIRE ALARM IS SUPER AND LOUD MY GOODNESS
It is also interesting that all the different sounds !!!!!!.
Nice.
The newer fire alarms are EST EG4RFs
It sounds like a EST Horn Contagious with a touch of a Code 3 and High Low Horn strobes And Edwards speaker Voice Deact !!!!!
..? I don’t here any code 3 and voice react??? Contagious???
you meant *continuous and *voice evac
SpectrAlert Advance On Continuous. My residential Has those on the same coding, Though We live In Chicago, Where NFPA Coding is Code 3 And Continuous. Building was Built in 2016. But, The Panel is a Notifier NFS-320(Honeywell Version). We also Have Active Intruder Protection on the HID Readers. Worse Was that they were installed in the bedrooms, Hallways, and Stairwells. And They Are Loud As Heck.....
I'd have moved a long time ago if that happened to me.
My college sounded the alarm just like that! Anyways, you don’t mind if I could sample the sound of the EST Integrity voice message horn strobe itself? I did film the exact same EST model itself, but I unfortunately missed the sound of it. Your sound of the alarm in this video is just exactly like at my school. I would appreciate if I could sample the sound of the alarm itself? Thank you!
Sure, you can sample it. I made a separate video just for that: ruclips.net/video/e3IAyFPw_Sw/видео.html
Yeah, I just saw that. Thanks so much!!!!!! :D
I just uploaded the video. The EXACT same sound here! I thank you so much for allowing me to use your audio sample for the fire alarm as it sounded exactly the same in person before I filmed this! ruclips.net/video/vXRPPICF4No/видео.html
It’s cool how they just let you walk around during the drill, recording! It almost seems as if its a hyperrealistic first person game where you have to get out of a lab after an emergency or something. Awesome!
It wasn’t a drill, it was a planned test.
Oh. Well, same thing nonetheless. X3
Lé Fat Bowsero Well I do work there in the summer so I was already walking around.
They are testing it to make sure that the students can here it.
*PEOPLE, I KNOW WHAT A TEST IS*
Was there a simplex alarm too?
No
That’s neat with all the alarms
0:09 oh gosh
Wish this school had the green ISO "running man" exit signs. They're more visible.
I don’t think they really exist here in the US lol
Avoxele we have them in New York high rises and Boston’s Subway Station. We need more here.
@@razvandobos9759 those iso running man exit signs only exist in Canada and they don’t exist in the Us
@@mk6_ale922 I agree
Spector alert advance probably a gentex or wheelock and a est genious voice system
The school sure has a lot of fire alarms
What if they had the Australian fire alarm system?
3:17 sounds like a horror movie
I think the voice of vacuolation helps a lot from the fire alarms
An est genesis speaker strobe and a system sensor spectalert adavence horn and a edwards 892 and a est genesis g1rf vm remote strobe and a est integrity horn strobe
4:39 you can see the est 892 flashing if you look carefully
message is a bit uh................TEDIOUS :( lol
sounds like a broken record :D
03:58 You can hear an EST Integrity horn strobe
2:38
Geez so loud.
I've never heard a spectralert advance on continuous at a school, I am familiar with it but never heard it in person
There Might Be Edwards Integritys Hidden In Some Random Locked Room
Because I heard it's sound at around 03:58
My ears got screwed early on
Interesting horn strobe with horn disconnected
Wow that cool, this school is large? I like that message and integrity alarm right? Thanks
Is there a touch of a Gentex Horn ?????
No, I don't believe so.
How does one hear the voice evac against all of those other horns?
Was the spectralert a horn-strobe or horn-only?
Fire! Fire! Fire!
That looks like a university, why is your school so large.
0:59 voice evac
It’s too bad we didn’t see the pre-integrity’s
Why Is There A System Sensor Horn Strobe In The Kitchen???
To probably replace a Dysfunctional Edwards 892
Spector alert advance alarms plus entegerity and genisis speaker
No just the 892 but you are correct theres an entegerity
My poor old ears!
0:50 what was that? lol
Call the fire trucks
There is no need to do that in a system test or fire drill
fire drill
What Highschool is this at.
That alarm sounds scary but mine sounds more more scaryer
🔥🔥🔥
Is the spectralert advance a horn or horn strobe?
No but I can hear a simplex
Tyler Bridges it’s actually an Edward pre integrity
Besam automatic Door
Speaking Of This Fire Drill Test Of False Alarm
what school is this?
I hear a low loop
How did the fire alarm start
I think they pulled it with permission
Now what this school needs is a Federal Signal 3T22 and a Thunderbolt 1003.
This is not working
Is This A High School.
Yes it is
@@Cam.469 OK why do some of the high school have Horn Strobe and the rest of the high school has speaker strobe
@@jacobisworld9516 probably because they like to combine them with other stuff
@@jacobisworld9516 my school was the same too we had wheel lock AS specralert advance and speaker strobes in the gym
@@jacobisworld9516 because they forget to replace it with something else
Continuous...
I love fier drill I want to pull one and I want to set it off
Do you have the control panul
No do I have to buy one?
Ouch an advance on code 3
Continuous you mean?
1:42
Do you know what the main panel is?
Gary Beltz it’s in a back hallway. There’s an annunciator in the front hall. I believe it’s either an EST 2 or 3 system, I’m working there later this week so I’ll double check.
I think it’s an EST3. The EST2 has slightly different tones.
It’s a 3.
