Vinnie Versaci Those yellow pull stations are part of the emergency lockdown system. When one of them is activated, it sends a message on the PA instructing everyone to lock their doors and follow lock down procedure. Thanks for watching!
Vinnie Versaci On most panels, most alarms can be connected to conventional NACS (except some Simplex True Alerts). In this case, the Simplex alarms were connected to the Siemens PAD3 NAC extenders on constant mode. The Silent Knight panel is just used for conventional zones in the old part of the school. Everything goes back to the Siemens XLS.
Just a question: why did some of the horns not go off and only the strobes go off while other horns did go off with their strobes? Is that a malfunction in the alarms that threatens to have the whole school system replaced with BORING Advances?
Goldenrod636 It happens when you silence the panel really fast. Most of the strobes have audible silence and some take a little bit longer to work. It doesn't happen when the system is in normal alarm. Sorry for the confusing comment. Hope this helps!
What are the Yellow Push Stations For May i ask. Looks like it goes to The PA System's Alarm. My school has ''Push To sound/call'' Buttons Under Stopper Covers. They are Tied to The Telecor PA Alarm System For Intruder Threats only. Labeled '' For Emergency Lockdown Only''. DO NOT USE TO CALL OFFICE. people Forget that the Blue Light over the button is lit, Meaning it is active. It also Has Manual Access Relay(Closes Fire Doors When Activated). Also, Phone Lines Become PA's And Sends out a Wireless Emergency Alert On the Caller ID Screen
This school has more cool alarms that my high school did. Don’t get me wrong my high school had pretty nice alarms. They had two simplex panels an old 4208 that ran the old AC horns including the old 4050s in the cafeteria and main gym and north hallway. And the kitchen had a 9308 horn. Then a 4100 that was installed in the 90s that ran 4903s and a first generation Wheelock AS. Then true alerts that were added in 2002 when they did a big addition including auxiliary gym and fitness center and new wood shop and auto shop. And new science labs. I started their in 2005 before I did they replaced the old AC horns in the field house with true alerts. As well as new pull stations in the field house and cafeteria. And replaced the old heat detectors in the cafeteria with new true alarm smoke detectors. Then in 2007 they did an other big addition and renovation to the school. The system was not replaced but they were more true alerts added in the new additions including the new library and gym and new offices and classrooms. I graduated in 2009 as far I know the old Simplex system is still there. But most of the old 4050s were replaced I believe around 2010 or 2011. I know they were still 3 4050s working left there. And they were some 4903s on the second floor that were replaced with wheelock As. But I’m not sure how much longer the system will be there for. Because the system is getting old and the last time I was there the 4100 was having some issues including the display not working. And I did see saw pictures that some L Series were installed recently including in my old classroom. So I’m thinking they are in the process of replacing the system.

What was that one yellow pull station I saw used for
Vinnie Versaci Those yellow pull stations are part of the emergency lockdown system. When one of them is activated, it sends a message on the PA instructing everyone to lock their doors and follow lock down procedure. Thanks for watching!
HJCF0520 and how in the hell are simplex horn strobes hooked up to a silent knight pannel
3:11 the fire alarm choir 😅
I love the old alarms
Huh. U-MMTs and 9838s. Just like my high school now (the U-MMTs replaced 2DCDs)
Goldenrod636 Cool! Thanks for watching!
Oh and also, my camera wasn't the best so it didn't capture all of the strobe flashes.
So did that SpectrAlert Classic strobe flash?
bro what the heck why is this thing loud? 😣 9:28
The U-MMTs aren't U-MMTs. They're actually U-MHUs. U-MMTs have a lower pitch than U-MHUs.
9niner Wow. I just watched a comparison between the two and you're 100% right. Thanks for the clarification!
No problem! :) I actually had these at my 1st and 2nd grade school in white
I have a video of my apartment fire alarms going off (siemens ummts)
Intes are you in jail in jail or on your way teff on to win text fun to wait Health monitoring
The school also has STI Emergency Push Stations
D. Major Cool system! The school has a similar lockdown system which is tied into the PA system. Thanks for watching.
You're obsessed with your schools alarmds
what were the stopper stations for?
Lockdown system. Thanks for watching.
Could the school not decide on one fire panel and one device?
At 3:14 the alarms sounded amazing
