- This was awesome , the system consist of the EST GCWA-S7VMC series White ceiling mounted/wall mounted EST G4-S7VM series Genesis speaker strobes & White wall mounted Genesis strobes and for the pull stations EST SIGA 278 dual action pulls/ EST SIGA DH or DA duct detectors.

This is much better than the alarm system in my school which has the obnoxiously loud integrity horn.
Recently I woke up in a hotel and I heard this. It was terrifying.
All the new schools built in my city since the late 1990s go with EST voice-evac systems. Three schools built between 1998 and 2001 have EST-2 systems with Integrity speaker/strobes, and two schools built in 2008 have EST-3 systems with Genesis speaker/strobes. They are planning to build a new elementary school soon and also expand and renovate my high school, and I wouldn't be surprised if those all go with EST voice-evac as well.
What message and tone do the est2 systems play? There are ZERO videos of an est2 voice evac system. It’s very very very rare!

its just now that i realised these same alarms were used in the WTC 1-6
No they weren’t. WTC had a Pyrotronics system with rebranded Wheelock E70 Speaker Strobes. This is a late 2000s era EST system.

yep penta and other building has one of those but the one closest to my first hospital was simplex the second one had wheelock but replaced with these. but now I move to bowling green. for the third one.
and i also got the edwards system voice evac with ge brand at last and yes it's in english but i made other in japanese but it's really lot of work though.

Hey, that alarm sound exactly like the one that Jim Lee elevators filmed at university of Texas in Houston. Except, the messages different. It says there has been an emergency reporting in the building. Please leave building immediately is Mark stairways and exits.

Perhaps you could enlighten me, EST uses the same cover plates on the Genesis remote strobes as the horn strobes, hence the horn grilles? There are Genesis strobes in my dorm building that have horn grilles but are only strobes.

Confusing. I always thought the bathroom at my school had horns, I guess not. If you look carefully at the horn, you can see a silver circle in it. Not so with the strobe only.

My school was just built and has voice Evac Firelite panels Siemens speaker strobes and it is an addressable system. Really quiet unlike yours.

An io64 is 64 points which isn’t enough for a school. And, it’s voice evacuation. So itd be an EST3X since the EST3X has been out since 2013

Not a chance. It's almost definitely an EST3. The iO series doesn't have voice evac, and EST doesn't make external voice evac panels. Also, at the time this video was filmed, the biggest iO series panel was the iO500, which probably would be too small for the building.
