- Google just released the Pixel 3a, and its time for a Durability Test! Customize your own phone with dbrand HERE: dbrand.com/help-pls As soon as the plastic Pixel 3a was announced, I was curious if Google put any thought into durability. If a smartphone, even a cheap smartphone cant survive abuse, then it might not be worth buying. In todays video we are going to durability test the Pixel 3a with a scratch test, and bend test, to see what the pixel 3a is made from. Do you care about using a plastic phone?

Plastic is usually more flexible than metal. It also helps with drops since it absorbs a lot of the force.
I had multiple Nokia lumia phones and they were so nice. The polycarbonate bodies were strong, durable, and unique looking. Never felt I needed a case.
I closed the car door on my s7 and it only bent a little, but of course the glass shuttered.

@@pissgrief Hope I'm not late, but I recently got a Pixel 3 and have some words on it.
I've wanted a Pixel for a while and when they were on sale, I figured it would be the perfect time to upgrade. It runs super fast and clean, the UI is very easy to learn, and the screen and camera are amazing. The battery lasts me a whole day on one charge even if I'm watching RUclips for a couple hours. Transferring my data was super easy as there is a feature where you connect the Pixel and your old phone together and basically copy everything from the old phone to the new phone. I had everything over and running in less than 10 minutes.
Overall, I don't regret getting this phone in the slightest! It is super thin and sleek, so I recommend a case for it (as I would for every phone. You shouldn't really go around without protection on the off chance you drop it). I got one of the fabric cases and it feels really nice. I love this thing.

@@johnboy6799 no wireless charging on the Pixel 3a. Don't get me wrong, I like having wireless charging on my phone. But I don't use it more often --- it's convenient if all my plugs and wired ports are used up and then I have to resort to wireless charging. But I always will use wired first because it's still faster than wireless.
I am glad my phone has both wireless charging and a headphone jack, but if I had to sacrifice one feature then it would be wireless charging. That way I still would have more options on audio for the phone.
You can't actually hold your phone and use it while wireless charging it. Wired charging is better. It's my opinion. Please don't hate

@@mrbobdog707 Yes, even then. Most budget phones run a Snapdragon 730, and while the 670 is comparable on CPU, on GPU the Adreno 618 is a good deal faster than the 670's Adreno 615. Snapdragon 670 isn't that great no matter how you look at it.
