Charging separation bypasses the battery charging circuit and powers the device directly from being plugged in. It allows you to play while plugged in and not worry about wearing out the battery from constantly being charged. It also generates a lot less heat because the battery charging circuit outputs a lot of heat. I wish all devices had it.

It's true the processor here is powerful. I can play ps2 games God of war, ratchet and clank, metal gear solid 2, ace combat shattered skies, gta vice city all at either 3x or 4x with buttery smooth framerate on my galaxy s23 ultra (you just need to tweak the settings on the games individually)

If you update MK8D to its latest version on yuzu, you will likely always have 60 FPS on all maps and modes. Later updates significantly improved the games performance

The Odin Lite I owned had pretty severe input lag, for instance. Retroid devices never have that. I just hope they're getting it right this time. Cool that it seemed ok to start for you.

The first Odin was great so no doubt in my mind this one would be great. But the notorious shipping time Frame with this company keeps me off and I want something smaller like the retroid 2s size. I'll wait a few more years for that
I suggest trying Winulator (New Vegas and Sims series are popular picks), NetherSx2 (instead of Aethersx2, it uses the absolute latest build 4248 but removes the ads and anti-user features), Yabasanshiro 2 (saturn emulation is very iffy so will be good to see it perform with the massive performance overhead). NFS Most Wanted PS2 is also very difficult to emulate without tweaking a lot of settings, so would be worth a shot. I also suggest trying some Android games like honkai and genshin.

Battery is 8000 mah. Which equals insanity. You’re going to get at least 4 hours PS2/GC play out of that.

also can we get the switch version of red dead redemption added to tested games? I'd love to be able to retire my switch
RDR doesn't load.
How does Shadow Of The Colossus for PS2 run on it? I might have to sell all my devices if it’s that good.
Still drops 50% even at native, emulator issue.
