(I know I'm super late but I had to comment lol) I think in the sims 4 they didn't use the christian santa but the Russian version which is called father frost (дед мороз) and his color is blue (he also has a granddaughter which I think they didn't include in the sims).. It's known that in the sims 4 they try to include as many traditions and nationalities so I think this is why they chose to go with father frost instead of santa
