      @@XIII1013 I ski as hard as I can until there's no more fresh tracks. Usually that is between 11-1pm depending on the day, time of year and what terrain is open.
      I have zero interest in skiing choppy, carved up snow so would rather push myself as hard as I can in the morning, skip lunch and get as many fresh laps as I can. Then head home in the arvo.
      I also ski almost every day so it's hard to be doing full days of skiing 7 days per week.

      Gate 5 puts you on skiers left of the Hana 3 chair (it wasn't open at the time this video was shot).
      I was skiers right of the chair in the first two runs, so still technically inside the resort.

    Loving the content mate keep it up. Just wandering are tree wells much of a problem there? I'm an Aussie living in Whistler Canada and tree wells are a massive hazard here because the trees catch the snow in the leafs and creates a well around the base of the tree. Looking at the footage it doesn't look like the trees catch the snow cause there is no leaves.

    • @BlaizeKelly
      @BlaizeKelly  18 дней назад +1

      Hey mate, tree wells aren't really much of a thing over here as there are no evergreen fern trees like Canada. That's not to say they can't develop, but it's nothing like Canada where they are a huge hazard.
      All the trees here shed their leaves and so you don't really have the same risk. However, Japan does have its own set of hazards like creeks which are reasonably easy to find if you like to ski in valleys.
