Hello John I got mine 3 Days ago And it shoots so well.. The trigger is a Dream I have been watching your Channel since a while And because of your thoughts and the Videos i bought the Crosmanns 1377,1322 the ux Strike Point and the Buck Mark urx.. and also the Beeman p 17 No joking You really helped me to get my Choices.. The Crosmanns are amazing Very powerull I am not a Fan of CO 2.. But the Beeman P 17 is a wonderfull Gun Very silent and accurate The cocking is very hard Not difficult for me but for a small Woman or Child impossible .. You are doing a great Job Thx and greetings from Germany 🙂✌🏻
I have one of these, absolutely love it! It is so accurate that it's almost boring! I think that it is the biggest value for an air pistol that there is, if you don't own one, you really should. 'nuff said.
Many moons later,,,I recommend P17 to anyone if you can cock it,my limit is 10 meters or around 30 feet.. $50 or $500 dollars air pistol will not make any difference for me except the price.. I am NOT Olympics champion nor do I pretend to be one,I need 3 beers 🍻 and hoot from weed pipe to hit the can 😂.. Just have fun and stay safe and don't do stupid things either... Peace ✌️...
I recently purchased a Stoeger XP4. Structurally and in appearance, this is a complete analogue of the Beeman P17. Impressions are the best. Of course, it is not for collecting as a copy model, although it vaguely resembles the "Beretta" (it is not for nothing that the box says DESIGNED IN ITALY). But, as for the entertaining side of the issue, you can't imagine better! Here are the arguments for: 1. Relatively light (the hand does not get tired in prolonged use). 2. The corrugated surface of the handle, which allows you to confidently hold it in your hand. 3. No need to spend money on gas canisters. 4. Bullets - lead, very accurately placed on target. 5. Possibility to use bullets "Glare" (explode upon impact with a hard surface, which is very impressive in the dark). 6. Minimum return. He does not need any "body kits" (LTC, calimator), not the case, he is for "close combat". In addition, body kits will interfere with the process of pumping air - you need to be able to confidently cover the frame when pumping air. In general, I liked this gun, I recommend it. Great choice. There are many different models in my collection, but this gun is in a special place of honor. 👍😀
Yes I have this one minus the fiberoptic sights. Its been a while since I've shot it but videos like this makes me want to do some shooting. Id like to run different pellets through it again to see what was the best but if I remember correctly the cheaper line of the Beeman pointed pellets were awesome in it.
Love your in depth reviews... I hate when they review the gun without shooting it?! You cover it all though, it's important to show loading and shooting, as if this is your hobby that's mostly what you'll be doing. I Just picked up a Diana p5, and then today just got my Beeman p17. The Beeman sure has a better trigger and it seems to handle any pellet so far with ease. Both are so accurate! Considering I have no real skills (just started). I had a real hard time trying to find the pellet pistol I wanted (stupid Canadian laws). But I'm really happy with the Beeman p17. If you are on the fence about it..Go for it. It's cheap, you can't really go wrong. My only issue with the Beeman is the safety. As on my Diana the safety is manual. Just makes shooting easier, also the Diana is Much easier to c0ck. I really almost picked the browning Buckmark or the Ruger mark iv... Not sure if I made the right choice with the Diana p5. But I love it as my first gun, and can't go wrong with the Beeman p17 as my second gun. Keep up the great reviews!!
Nice video. Would always appreciate shots from a rest position as well because it takes much of the variation out of the results. You have a good presentation. Max
Great job John! A classic budget clone air pistol with great 15-20 yard accuracy. any one will enjoy this pistol and one can find it on sale for less than fifty. JSYK buddy anyone can upgrade your Wheeler trigger gauge to electronic at MidwayUSA for a good price if you watch sales. Looking forward to your upcoming 362 outings.
Hey, I have a marksman, but it barely pushes the pellets out out of the barrel and there is a hole in the inside with thread in it. I was wondering what that’s for
Actually the trigger can be adjusted. There is a grub screw in the trigger and you make the pull lighter by screwing it in. I love my p17, tons of fun to shoot. I even replaced the barrel to a .22. Big 5 lowers the price to $45 every now and then.
@@precisionrodentcontrol_PRC hey, the crosman 1322 barrel pistol can be used for it. You do have to drill the gun and machine the back of the barrel so it fits the gun. I’ll look for the info and get back to you.
Hey wingman have you ever reviewed a crossman vigilante? I got one for Christmas and put a Red dot on it, eyes are getting bad. But I'm really impressed with it. Thanks for this review and your other reviews.
Thanks for the reply you and Dana are great. Oh I had to watch Dana's review of the Fux air gun for the third time today. Still cracks me up! I don't comment much but did comment to Dana twice on that one. Again thanks for you guys for your hard work and your reviews.
I'm not gonna lie about the cocking either. If you let the gun get up against your belly fat (easy to do if you're seated) it WILL take a painful bite out of ya. Someone told me that. Never happened to me 3 times. Great gun at twice the price. You may know this, but you didn't mention it and I think it's a huge feature of the gun, so I'll mention it, it can be noiselessly dry fired by just raising the slide 'til you hear the click. You have to release the safety first, after returning the slide to the locked position, but then you get a trigger pull that is identical to what you have if you were actually shooting the gun. Because of the design of the gun you could fire it all day without a pellet anyway, it won't be damaged, but your wife might get tired of hearing the pop of air every time you shoot a bad guy on the TV when she's watching with you. Again, never happened to me 3 times.

Thank you for the support my friend.
The Beeman 17 was designed/engineered in Germany, so... Thank you!
Nice 🙂👍. I got mine at Walmart for $13 a few years ago when they went all anti gun and airgun.
My Walmart sells the “80$” cross man f4 for 103$ and I’m in CALIFORNIA!😢
I just paid $47 for one on Amazon, f***

Hey I love that old school trigger gauge. LOL Thanks for the info.

Thank you.
I have one and at 63 the 28lb cocking is somewhat tough to deal with, not to mention only one-shot capability.
Nice pistol 🔫. Think I will go buy this 😊

Pretty legit air pistol.
It’s a fun shooter.
That's awesome
Fun times.
Pistols are fun and challenging at 15-20 yards.😎🇺🇸
Can’t beat that price on this one.
For sure. Thanks for watching.
Does it come in only the .177/4.5?
@@johnnybbgunner2136 Yes sir.
Is this the same as the Hw45?
The Weirauch is made with better parts and material.
@@Wingman115I believe it is also a spring loaded piston, not a pneumatic like this one, but 10 times the cost.
I like it 🇺🇸 🇳🇿
Thanks for stopping by David.
CAN it KILL RATS ?
No it’s a target airgun.
Okay thanks. What should I look for then ?
