Manfred should have ensured John Fisher that he stay in Oakland until Vegas was either figured out or discarded. Letting them play in a minor league ballpark is extremely embarrassing, I can't wait to play MLB the show next year and see the tiny rendered minor league ballpark amongst the REAL stadiums. We need Tony Clark and the MLBPA to shut this down and put Fisher in his place! MLB has been complicit in all of this by enabling and empowering John Fisher when he should have been punished for what he has done to this team and these fans!

@@smokey5100I have been to both stadiums and area's those stadiums are at. I'm from Alameda county and lived in Sacramento most of my life. Stadium in Sacramento isn't much worse than the coliseum besides the lower standards in the locker rooms but of course that's going have to change cause of the player's association "which still will probably be the minimum cause Fisher". For sure Old Sacramento is way nicer of a area than Oakland is. Even with the decline of Downtown and Old Sacramento the last 20 years. Either way, Fisher needs to sell the team soon after the move either way. He's shit. We all can agree on that.

Batting cages can be purchased and upgraded. I agree with everything said, but lets stop worrying about batting cages for god's sake. They can UPGRADE the facility if need be. There is plenty of space to work with, as opposed to the insane proposed Vegas footprint. I actually hope the Vegas site falls through and Fisher gets squeezed. NBC sports California is already the home of the A's and Sac Kings (so they technically aren't really changing their market especially when Sac is less than an hour away from the bay area). NBC sports Bay Area does not include the A's, they are a Giants affiliate, both networks are broadcasted in Sacramento, the Bay Area and Northern California.
There was a time when it was Fox sports bay area and they were not affiliated with Comcast Sports Net (early to mid 2000's). Comcast bought FSN Bay Area years ago and rebranded to NBC sports Bay Area and Comcast sports net to NBC Sports California

Arizonies, do not fall for this trick. You will waste tax payer money and down the road, the greedy owners will still extort you into building them a new stadium. Happened with the Jack Murphy Stadium renovation in the 90s, and the Padres still demanded a new stadium be built downtown. The taxpayers fell for it hook line and sinker. The Padres promised it would create 5000 new full time jobs, when in fact it only accounts for 50. John Moores the owner of the team, and incredibly the developer of the project made $700 million on the downtown development, and another $400 million when he sold the team. *STOP THE INSANE MADNESS OF SOCIALISM FOR $BILLIONAIRES!!*
