  • Elon Musk’s Empire Suffers $18 Billion Setback. Here’s Why | Vantage with Palki Sharma
It was a terrible Thursday for billionaire Elon Musk. Three things happened to him in one day. Twitter removed its legacy blue ticks from prominent accounts, causing quite a stir online. SpaceX’s rocket test failed and Tesla missed revenue expectations. What is Musk thinking now? Palki Sharma decodes

** He wants to take away the blue check mark because he wants to make a subscription service and doesn't want to depend on advertisers. Subscription services democratize and decentralize power. He will add video and banking services to Twitter in the future.
** Elon had low expectations for the Starship to fly. He cleared the stage, thinking that it would explode before taking off. The testing was successfully done up to belly flipping. So it was a success.
**** Elon cut the price of Tesla for the 6th time this year yesterday. He couldn't care less about being rich.
Do your homework diligently. If you are just vomiting that someone fed you, what is your contribution?

Overdramatization is the norm in journalism, gosh...
Elon talked about failures so many times.
SpaceX's first rockets exploded, but they learned from it, and that's why they have rockets which are able to come back to Earth and be used again.
Without the will to fail, there will be no progression.

I don’t know why Palki hates Elon in so many ways 😅, it’s so evident from many of her videos. What matters is his attitude towards failure. Maybe we all can learn from that. Said he can land rockets and reuse and laughed again for few failures. Now it is landing the rockets like landing aero planes. Went back to the cave. Now when the rocket failed in the first launch starts laughing again and will again go back to their caves when its successful like lifting off a plane.
Failure is important in life. Without Failures there is no success. If it was that easy every space agency would launch their rockets on the first attempts.

Stop worrying about Elon, he is not afraid of failures 😂, that's why he is successful, and don't expect everything to be a success in first go...For me the launch is successful because it gives lot of data to prevent such instances in future

I am sure there are many out there with same feeling. Elon Musk is a rare personality for the better or worse. Im questioning this channel’s and Palki’s credibility going forward. What is the real agenda behind this propaganda? Who is gaining from discrediting Musk? The least they could have done is talk about the complexity and vision of the starship. This is disappointing to see Palki just be a another puppet for an elitist agenda.

Naah i don't think it was a terrible setback on rocket front. It was a van build in 2 years time and rusting, always ready to do what it could and give idea's about where the further progress is to be made. Painting it in negative light is wrong on Palki's part , i expect better news from this channel. He is what it is and our isro should also think and work on reusable boosters and try to evolve the technology with our bright scientists and brilliant engineers that we have and cut the expenditure on space program !! Rather than what he couldn't do, we have to talk about what we should do !! He is a private company and he will win or loose his money it shouldn't bother any of us until we are Tesla/SpaceX/twitter stock owner. And i don't think people are worried about blue tick anyways !! Relevance is important to picture someone as a cult when he made whatever by his own hardwork and efforts. 🤔😐🤨🧐

I don't mean to insult you Ma'am, but your reporting on the rocket failure shows prejudice and animosity. I believe that shows you are human, and inclined to bias as any human.
Many rocket experts, including NASA experts, calling it a success and you calling it a failure? I don't think you are the expert in that area to make such blunt statements.

Palki is totally clueless on how science/space technology makes advances. Yes you learn by failing. The fear of failing means you don't try new ideas. The fear of failing means the NASA Space Launch system was 100% over budget and 6 years behind schedule, while SpaceX launches are 3X cheaper than the competition. Space X's only US competitor is a combination of Boeing and Lockheed, ULA corp. Space X and ULA both were awarded contract to develop rockets to resupply the Space station. Musk's company succeeded in 1/2 the time for 1/2 the cost because they learn from their mistakes and weren't afraid to fail. But Mush has made enemies in the US security state, the neocons. Is Palki being paid by the neocons?

Palki Sharma should have applauded the success achieved by SpaceX launch on April 20th. Instead she engaged on the negative that Elon lost over 13 billion dollars on the same day, a typically low level in journalism. Millions of followers of SpaceX are not impressed by such comments. Great achievements are ahead for SpaceX.

Every scientific invention has failures, which brought success. It's sadistic to celebrate scientific failures. I like Palki's journalism in terms of analysis, storytelling, and mostly unbiased stance compared to many state-controlled Western media. However, one element missing in her approach is the self-reflection based on the viewers' comments. You can see that the vast majority of the comments support the space program. Elon's sportive attitude despite failures must be appreciated, and the Starship was unmanned (only economic loss). Mostly the hate comments against him on Western media are because he is hard to be enslaved by the liberal cult (democrats), and who knows it's a sabotage like Nord Stream 2.
