The cockapoo is the most intelligent dog I ever had. He learned all the commands and tricks I teached him within half an hour (one trick a day). The quickest thing he learned was "Give me your paw", he learned it within only five minutes.

Mine too. Give paw and sit Bob learned in about 5 commands. Stop jumping and stop pulling is another story 🤣🤣🤣

ours managed to figure out how to open the living room safety gate. it half locks if you put it on half way and we often did that for convenience but the dog figured out where we open it from and nudged the lock up to get out so we had to start clipping it in place. we thought we were going crazy until we caught her in the act

Been having trouble with walking to heel and recall as our cockapoo is very interested in other dogs and loses focus very easily if there’s a smell he’s interested in or another dog etc etc

Although my puppy was 95% house trained and was only going in one or two favourite old spots to pee he has reverted and has had some mistakes. At the same time he completely went off his favourite treats or treats of any kind. He is still eating and drinking normally but this reverting back behaviour has me feeling frustrated and guilt for being frustrated at something I may have done to create this reaction in my puppy. Anybody got any suggestions or ideascc be why he is doing this

He might do it because he really needs. Dogs usually go after eating, so after every time he eats or drinks, let him outside until he goes. Hope this helps
