I don’t remember the concrete but did this years ago. This is not a very good example of how difficult RMC training actually is. I also don’t remember the instructors this nice and polite. This is just a PR move and that’s all I see.
They have been told by superiors to be nice for the cameras. Believe me, although, the RMC instructors don’t shout and scream and make their trainees totally deaf for the rest of their lives, like the US Marines do. They are not as nice as this video shows and they will slam you hard if you get out of line.
However, eventually I became a Royal Navy / Royal Marine Diver. I do remember some of the lads having a hard time with this but compared to other challenges it’s not that challenging.
Hahahaaa! You’re full of shit! The corps takes on a new recruit troop of 60 every 2 weeks and at the end of their training, 10-15 will actually make it! Easily!!!!!
This is total BS! These instructors have been told to keep it down and be polite for the cameras only. The RMC are having trouble finding recruits these days because men have become a bunch of panty wastes and couldn’t last a day in the Girl Scouts. This is not what I went through 50 years ago. PR City and this is all it is.
At least the US Marines show you the shouting, screaming and you will be deff for the rest of your life part! This video does not represent what you actually go through once you join.
Teaching can me much more productive without the constant screaming and threats all the time, especially when time's limited. It has its place, but still.
Holy shit, he's only going through a 4 ft tunnel, how much explaining does it take?? lol You do that when you're a kid. Imagine if it were a real mission.

I'm sure that water tunnel was much longer back in the 70s,and had corrugated shuttering.
I spent five years in the RMC and believe me training was gruelling but this wasn’t that big of a deal to me and most did it easily.

@@Horriblebastad its really not its literally apart of training its bit nerve racking first time but then its nothing special

This is simply a demonstration of how to negotiate the sheep dip on the endurance course, nothing about how hanging out you are before or after it 🤣
Only Berry(Beret) he’ll get is a black Berry

This is a look at life course not training
@@flissbomb2580 adversity breeds character. The most successful are successful because of the pain they went through and NOT the snowflake treatment.

Shutup you mong. It's fully submerged
I just watched Gordon ramsay go through a tunnel in military training. The difference is SHOCKING 😂
