In a world of hourlong unboxing videos, of plant hoarding show offs, it is refreshing to see someone with selected plants to grow them big and make them thrive.
I love the plant spotlights because it really focuses on a specific and really shows how they grow over a period of time. I LOVE them so don’t stop making them PLEASE!
Because of u I started doing moss poles and it has only been a week and my monstera adensonii (sp) has already rooted into the moss pole and put out a new leaf, it’s looks super happy so I wanted to say thank you so much. 😁
I actually find focusing on one plant refreshing, I love what your producing and your right it is visually satisfying to a plant enthusiast. Your format is not rushed, extremely informative and you have photos of various milestones, personally I love it. Looking forward to your next video.
Loving this series as is. Not just the plant porn, but with your experiences and journey’s it’s all interesting enough to have my diving for my phone when I get an upload notification. We want to see your plants… over and over!! How are your Anthuriums going in Oz winter?
A video on your process of developing the cuttings would be interesting. How you chop up new plant, how to root them, developing secondary roots, when ready to pot, how to pin on pole, how to organize more than one on a pole, and a more extended version of you chopping up the base pole to make more cuttings (do you chop them while on the pole? do you really need to take the moss pole apart?) etc. Would also be interesting to see 6 month updates on your spotlight plants!

@@sydneyplantguy my bad. Meant Brad. Lol
So with the large pole and a small cutting, what size pot do you use? I know you say in one of your videos that you only use 20cm pots, but do you start smaller, like when the plant is a small cutting?
Thank you
When I first give it a pole I put it into a 14cm pot and then repot it into a 20cm pot once i extend the pole :)
@@sydneyplantguy that’s great 😊 thank you for reply… spent hours yesterday making poles 😆 🪴
What size pot do you tend to put these in with the moss pole?
14 cm first & once I extend the pole I repot into 20cm
How do you prevent your cat from eating your plants, especially the toxic ones?
