    1) Lift heavy, which is relative to your own strength.
    2) reduce calories - only a little bit each month.
    3) start cardio - (2x a week) for the first 3 weeks.. 4-6 weeks 30mins 3x a week.
Final step when you have cut most
    4) cut carbs for 3 days at a time. Reintroduce carbs for two days and then cut it out again… this should be the final stage. You should be good to go.

Andrew - What has your stress level been like since you started going to school and all the studying that you're doing? Has it gone up significantly? If so, keep in mind that persistent high levels of stress can cause weight gain, particularly in the gut.
I'm not a trainer nor a physician and you should really do your own research, but If your stress levels have gone way up, I highly encourage you to consider researching stress-related weight gain, and in particular look at the effect that stress has on cortisol, as well as ways to manage cortisol levels with things such as magnesium, Vitamin C, B12 and folic acid. You will of course also want to consider ways to help lower your overall stress levels.

Full body workouts 2 times a week to muscle failure. Only focus on heavy compound lifts that work big muscle groups. Bench press or dumbell press, squats, Legg press, Deadlift, back rows. Lat pull downs, shoulder press. Heavy push pull moves. Mix in your arms and isolated leg lifts if u fell the need. Burpee is another good full body move along with Deadlift. They burn lots of calories while building strength. Steady walking on the treadmill. Raise the incline to 5 or 6 or higher and a speed you're comfortable with. I try to walk at least 2 to 3 times a week, and do a full body with weights twice a week. Calorie deficit, and get your protein in. U can try intermittent fasting also. But do ur research on how to do it.

2-3 full body workouts are enough provided that you include some reasonably challenging sets of squats or deadlifts in each. These two burn the most calories than any other exercise and also maintain/build muscle while body loses fat.
If possible, include burpees. Some in morning some in evening. Don't go all out right away. Gradually build up volume over time. Burpees help a lot in fat loss.
Don't forget to include push-up, Chin-Up, etc for upper body as they keep you in shape and conditioned.

You have to understand that fat and muscle comes together if you are looking to lose fat or some say burn off fat you have to understand your own metabolism and what it is doing when it metabolizes food.
You are going to have to go through phases of weight lifting and then phases of cardio all while cutting your calories.
I see faces because if you really understood how much cardio you would have to do to lose 1 pound it would blow your mind and most of us do not have the mental or physical discipline to do so.
Which is why I recommend getting stronger in phases then cutting back the calories and that will take discipline because you going to have to eat in order to support the muscle that your building that means you going to have to have a certain diet plan for your body type specifically.

I have been at 195 lbs now for over a month and am wondering if a bulk might need to happen now. Interesting! I’m tempted to try this myself, but I also train at 6 am. Wouldn’t I want to replenish carbs?

    • @KC-lg8qf
      @KC-lg8qf Год назад

@@cbgbstew4072 yes you can replenish carbs in a number of ways. The key is not to constantly be eating carbs. You treat your body like a car..... You don't fill it with gas every time you drive it. You fill up and then drive for a little while... Then after you have burned through some of your fuel you choose when to fill up again. This could be dependent on how you're feeling energy wise.... Or on a set schedule.
I have cycled a full day with no carbs.... Or I have done cycles where I wait until the evening to eat carbs. I have even done cycles where I just wait until midday to start having carbs. The more fat you need to lose.... The longer your cycle away from carbs will need to be. You can train fasted even if you're training at 6:00 a.m. as I train at 5:00 a.m. fasted. Your energy is coming from your glycogen stores, not necessarily the carbs you just had 30 minutes prior.
So if you want a beginner way to do this.... Wait until dinner to have carbs. Eat veggies and plenty of protein all day. Then maybe have 100-150 grams of carbs. This should be just enough to keep your glycogen stores from getting too low where you wouldn't have energy. Along with a low enough number of carbs and a long enough time fasting carbs to burn some fat. Hope that makes sense.

    So question , April 1st I was 215lb , today July 25 I’m 183,
I had found my maintenance calories , which were 3000 with moderate activity during the day , started eating 2500 cal . And I was loosing roughly 1lb a week
But now 3 days of the week I work landscaping so activity level is way higher , and I see that for the past 3 weeks I’ve been losing to much 2lb a week even 3. , should I increase my calories on those 3 days since I’m burning more throughout the day ? I’m 6’1 and I want to get shredded but I don’t think that 160 would be ideal for me , maybe 175 , but like I said , at this rate I’m going , I might loose to much, thanks in advance

Some people sweat while lifting weights or there's only sweat while doing a bunch of cardio.
When you sweat your entering the fat burning zone.
The problem is once you get that feeling of hey I'm gassed out and you leave the gym a lot of us go power back on the calories for example let's say the treadmill says you burn 700 calories but as soon as you go eat you can take in 2000 calories and that negates what you are trying to do if you are trying to lose weight or some say burn fat

No dont cut calories, cut your carbs eat meat and greens, change your routine every other workout and you will see fat loss. Do not think endurance or walking is the appropriate exercise to burn fat it needs to be moderate resistance of around an hour with little to no rests, basically its circuit training. It has worked for me multiple times if i want to burn fat. If your eating a lot if carbs and not working out a lot you will be storing those carbs not burning them. How do you figure your body will burn its fat stores when our bodies primary fuel is glucose if you are constantly keeping your glycogen stores filled. I see largely zero fat loss until i burn down my glycogen stores and the only way you do that is a week to 10 days of meat and vegetables zero high glycemic carbs. Once your glycogen is gone the vegetables will give you enough glucose to meet your needs and you can literally watch your fat burn off like a diesel truck with a heavy load. You obviously are not trying to gain muscle doing what im saying its purely the formula for fat loss only.
