Been in a high protein diet for 2 weeks and the weight scale hasn't changed at all but I'm definetly getting leaner and even adding a bit of strength 💪 🙌
What I got from this is instead of worrying about losing fat and keeping muscle I should focus on gaining muscle and not adding anymore fat. 👌🏼 Better body fat % and easier to lose fat naturally.
Actually, studies do show that being on a low-carb diet can prevent muscle growth and actually cause you to lose muscle. Our muscles need carbohydrates in order to maintain themselves, it’s OK to go on a low-carb diet for a short period of time, but it is best to eat lower amounts of refined carbohydrates, and instead eat healthier sources of carbohydrates such as whole grains. This will help maintain muscle mass and even promote muscle growth as well as help make healthier dietary choices.
Maintenance calories for 6 weeks with good consistent training. Then lower while keeping compound lifts for strength. I also add reverse pyramids and to induce both types of hypertrophy. Also, ending in higher reps, go ahead and go faster but still focusing on good long tight contractions. Messing with tempos of songs and just going to bear failure is also what made me and a few clients shred fat and maintain or even build muscle. Love it. Nothing works without mind muscle connection though.
Hey, so I've been rattling my brain for a few weeks with this problem. I'm 5"10' weigh 79 kgs, have a belly (38 inches). I want to reduce my belly and not lose my muscle. I've been training in a gym since 5 months. How do I go about it? Should I eat at maintenance or slightly lower?
@@thirdy4threetv Yep, that's what I'm doing since the past 2 months. I'm at 75 kgs right now! My belly size has reduced to 37 inches now, but it's still bloated. I'm hoping when I'm at 70 kgs I'll have a somewhat flat tummy!
Fascinating episode. I hear you guys talk, and i see myself. Screaming, WHY DO I HAVE MORE BODY FAT AFTER THE WAY I TRAIN??? FOR ME, VERY DEPRESSING. ILL MY WAY LISTENING TO YOU GUYS. THANK YOU SO MUCH.
What I’ve is decent body with little love handles and I tried low carb diet for a month and first things I lose was my arm size then face fat those damn belly is same
Same. Im muscular but Lovehandles is just where my body likes to keep its fat. For me to actually lose them id have to cut down so much that not only would i lose my arms, my neck and face would shrink to the point where id look sick af.
I have always thought that dieting is eating only green vegetables and drinking water. *Agoge Diet* proved me wrong. I am eating delicious and nutritionally rich food and still reaching my fitness goals.
Is there a better feeling than eating a pizza without a guilt knowing that it wouldn't mess up your fitness plans? Agoge Diet thank you for everything!
I knew which foods I need to eat to lose weight, but I didn't know how much. Diet plan I got from *Agoge Diet* contains portion sizes for every meal. Fantastic!

I gave up on what the scale says. If I'm changing my approach(less cardio/more resistance), I have to change perception of results.
even though they're not perfect, i would recommend the investment in a smart scale that has some measure of bf %

Daniel Rincon ..Agree..
I’ve been messing with low carb for years and it doesn’t really work for me, however, high carbs are devastating. It’s all about the balance.
Everything should be in moderation
Carbs from fruit 😎
Sugar addiction is your problem.
all about calories in, calories out low or high carbs doesn't really matter
Americans don’t get that concept. They want to eat shit and still expect to lose fat.

Use strength training so that the fat is used for energy and the calories u eat is for muscle gain
I’ve been eating more and heavy strength training and I have been leaning out
Summary : Lift weights while on low calorie diet.

So wait how do i do it then? I am cutting calories down to 2700 from 3300. I want to keep my muscle? How do i lift - lower reps heavy lifting?
I would get their program, but yeah closer to 5x5 with the fifth rep leaving you feel like you could do 1 or 2 more.
same reps, same weight
Easy. SMALL deficit, lift heavy.
