The CEI show (Bear Country Jubilee) is with Aaron Fechter in Florida, he still has it. He got it back from Morey’s and still has it to this day. I saw it in his building in Orlando years ago, but he recently moved. Aaron is the owner of CEI. It hasn’t run in a long time but he used it as a conversation piece for his building tours, I think he’s getting ready to operate the bears again though. Definitely not as well built as Major Magic. Ken Acton was one of the original developers of Major Magic’s, and he learned his skills from his dad Hubert Acton who worked for Disney.

@@PasqAnimatronics as I said. And yes, ce units fall way short in design and construction as compared to the major magic show units..
Ce was Kinda like the spirit Halloween of animatronics in their day.
Ce stuff is like plastic toys compared to real animatronic shows

@@MainStreetRANDYLAND Only the Mijjins (which were made in the 1990's) were made out of plastic. Most of CEI 1980's shows (Mostly The Rock-afire Explosion) are as high quality as Major Magics. Like Major Magics, they were like built tanks. The Rock-afire and other 80's CEI bots were designed and made to be very repairable and had very innovative mechanical designs like the E hinge and used very high quality solid aluminum and fiberglass. And while their 70's bots (like the aforementioned Bear Country Jubilee) were not as well made as their 80's bots, they were still built well enough for their time as CEI was still learning how to properly build them. They used steel like Major Magics did, but stop in 1979 and switch to aluminum to save weight and minimize moving masses while the characters are performing. Aaron Fechter (found and owner of CEI) would actually later regret using nylon plastic and using servo motors in the Mijjins characters eyes and also grew to dislike using servo motors in general. He only start using nylon plastic as he thought that it would be cheaper and better to mold plastic over welding aluminum, but came to found out that it was just as expensive to mold plastic and that it definitely didn't hold up as good as high quality solid aluminum.

That Fascination game is so cool. I live in the UK, so I'm used to the Kentucky Derby style games with the mechanical horse moving across in the back. I do think it's cooler having to actually make a line or something rather than just hoping your horse gets to the other side first.

I don’t know if it’s true or not, but I’ve heard that some Major Magic characters use CEI parts. The guitar players reuse bear arms from their CEI shows, and the bear on the far left, Burly Hives, he uses the legs of another bear character.

@@MainStreetRANDYLAND Now that I think about it, some Major Magic stores used to be Showbiz Pizza places. The replacements are strange because the animatronics would have repairs done in store, and so now the animatronics that have survived are all different because each store fixed their problems in different ways, and one of those ways was to use the old animatronics they had in house. Your show is in pristine condition because no one ever had to do any bad repairs on the show you own.
