That’s cool 😎 you’re so disruptive I like it
What was that first song kind of a bop
I Like This Video Duh I Don't Even Care
Cars Animatronics
Ahoyhoy There, Fellow RUclipsrino! I prefer the old Animatronics.
10 years later: DISNEY MAKES TERMINATOR TO WALK AROUND DISNEYLAND
They'd need to buy Universal first XD
.
.
.
.
.
.
.
This is a joke btw.
No, Disney just made FNAF & “Willy’s Wonderland” real.
@@pastproductions6781 why not? they're buying everyone else.
@@FhangMedia I know right
That didn't take me long to find a terminator joke
The cars ones are insane they actually made animated characters look completely alive
I agree when I went to Disneyland last, I kept telling my family LOOK HOW AMAZING the cars animatronics were. They were a lot less fascinated then I was 😂
Technically speaking, the word “animated” really means movement so in a way they are alive, just in a different form. Its fascinating the technology behind it
Agreed! I love the audio remote controlled ones that ride around in Cars Land too. Those were really impressive.
their mouths are crazys
Imagine if we have a future where there’s these huge centers that showcase a very well coordinated fight between superhumans. Like say this room is a mile in radius, and the operator gives you a jet pack to witness the actual fight in the room. You see this neighborhood with soft materials and all of a sudden there’s an animatronic darkseid lands and hits the fake concrete. The sound can be edited via your headphones. And then an animatronic Wonder Woman comes and smashes him through a home. Holy shit
That Spider Stuntronic is Spectacular. This Stuntronic can be used in movie studios for realistic and dangerous action sequences with less CG.
Will stuntmen be out of work someday soon?
@@djm5687 Someday, not sure how soon
No way. The time it would take to program the robot and adjust with trial and error would be insane. When they can just set up the scene with a stunt man. It’s far cheaper to make a photo real cgi person
I KNOW
the spectacular spider stuntman
4:53 the gaze animatronic is more engaging than mark zuckerberg
a potato is more engaging then Zuckerberg
yes it totally is.. also oddly less uncanny valley than mark zuckerberg
You have to remember that Zuck is still running on pre-compliance hardware
“Project Kiwi is working to bring free roaming smaller characters to life.”
My first thought was “Wow that’s pretty coo- oh my god they can bring back Stitch”
Seriously I feel like making a smaller free roaming Stitch animatronic would be the perfect redemption for what they did to the original animatronics
I thought about a free roaming Stitch too. But they would need to figure out how to make it walk faster, he didn't exactly take his time doing anything in the movies lol
@@FhangMedia yeah but given a few years i have no doubt they would figure it out.
Bringing free-roaming animatronics into the park would probably attract a lot of FNAF fans
YES
I wished they brought back Wall-E! He was sooo cute when they had him!
i love the beauty and the beast animatronics because their movements are similar to the frozen ones but they don't have those ugly screen faces
I'm glad I'm not the only one who hates the projected face animatronics.
I hate those screen faces ugh
The screen face just not match the realistic body. When the light is dim. That screen face just glow in the dark. There are no real shadow on those face. Hope the Tiana animatronic in the splash mountain will not be some ugly screen face.
@@alishanightshade3270 i completely agree, it looks so weird on elsa and anna and kristoff and it also doesn't show up very well on camera
I think the reason they used these screen faces were because fans quite liked them on the seven dwarves on the mine train
The gaze animotronic looks a little creepy with how he was looking at the camera, but the tech in it is amazing. Also, eye contact isn't looked on as highly in other countries as it is here.
I think once it’s given it’s character skin it won’t look as creepy since it will look more “normal” or “human-like”
Mix that with the Abraham Lincoln animatronic and it would be amazing.
Also too, autistic peeps such as myself HATES eye contact. It is sometimes impossible for us to look someone in the eye, and its often uncomfortable for us too. So... eye contact isn't the greatest thing for some people XD
As an autistic person, the gaze animotronic is basically just me at any social gathering. Anytime that I'm not forced to look at someone, I'm looking downward or just behaving like an NPC that hasn't had its interaction programs activated.
@@ryaneaston3487 I think the lack of skin makes it look like it's glaring and not just looking alongside the teeth not being covered.
It would be so cool to have little characters like a Mushu animatronic or even some kind of dragon! They could bring so many characters to life with these improving animatronics that we haven't seen before
Imagine they change the dragon at fantasmic? updated with this animatronic technology? Wow! 🤩
disney needs a AA Mushu asap!!
six words: how to train your dragon ride
Fastpass: Free roaming animatronics!
Security guard who played FNaF: ah shit here we go again.
I just love that they're past the uncanny valley and that they're not creepy-lifelike but beautiful lifelike
The stunt animatronics make me a little hopeful to bring back practical effects in movies. I'm a big fan of the practical effects, though i understand why movies moved to CGI stuff. But there's no denying how impressive, cool, and sometimes more immersive practical effects can be. They could do incredible things in future Spider-Man movies with that animatronic that i, personally, would love to see.
cgi is still cheaper than developing a whole-ass robot for a few seconds of screentime
Are you also a Nolan fan?
agreed, practical effects do make things look tangible in movies in ways CGI has yet to truly master
"Realistic Gaze Animatronic?"
I remember him as a baby in Daft Punk's "Technologic" music video... I feel old now.
Ohh , i'm remember the Daft punk "Technologic" robot too 😍
They are the same except grown up
I can see them using the Spiderman mid-show as an effect. Like Mickey sinking into the map in Mickey's Magical Map show. It's impressive ngl, so it's going to bring some consistency and less danger to certain scenes.
The realistic gaze animotronic looks like something straight out of a horror movie
Low key with how advanced these animatronics are, something I get IRobot vibes and hope they don’t end up having a mind of their own 😅
Me too! I know its impossible because they don’t all rely on artificial intelligence and they can’t think for themselves, but it’s still a bit freaky 😂
It’s a software update away
Now it's getting creepy...im all for them looking and moving more life like but I don't want them reading me and actually being alive XD
Absolutely insane, the fact that technology has come this far already is crazy, I love animatronics but like damn these ones are something else
The gaze animatronic reminds me of the early robots that were in Epcot’s communicore and actually talked to the audience
Surprised no ones been comparing any of this to “westworld” haha
We were going to initially! But then thought that not everyone would get the reference so in the end we didn’t 😊
@@fastpassfacts more like epic mickey
I actually started making animatronics because of you. You guys are fire!
What you trying to make?
There’s lots of stuff to choose from
@@erinmurphy8389 Realdolls lol
@@upstar21t lmao
I haven't seen Hondo in person, but the first time I saw him on youtube, I absolutely did not believe he wasn't a costumed performer. Bravo, Disney.
So it wasn't Skynet, or the Military, that brought us Judgement Day...
It was a Company known to brin joy to childs hearts. Disney ...
When the animatronics became self aware ... we were doomed already ....
Now that Disney owns 20th Century Fox, it would be fun to see fully animated version of their newest princess, the Xenomorph!
fuck this comment got me.. i almost choked on my own spit dammit 😂😂
I remember the first time I saw the jack sparrow animatronic after they added him to pirates. I was blown away. Probably in comparison to all the original characters next to him really helped show how far the technology has come
Imagine disney making a dark ride that involves stuntronics to leap around doing parkour
STITCH! I NEED A LIFE SIZED STITCH RUNNING AROUND!
Me too!!!
disney: keeps getting more and more advanced animatronics
skynet: this is the part where a large chunk of the human race gets wiped out
Looking at the all too realistic Lincoln, I'm just like, "dead man talking" XD
I can imagine that what they did with Baby Groot, will be how they’ll bring Finnick for their “Zootopia” themed land, to life.
Just Finnick? He's not the only little character in that movie you know.
@@JoaoGa210 Well, Nick Wilde and Judy Hopps are being played by actors in full-bodied costumes. But they can make size-accurate walk-around animatronics of them, if they like.
i'd love to see an encanto-themed ride with these new technologies
Seeing the Shaman in real life was so crazy. It looks so real and just blows you away!
Looking at the walking Groot animatronic, it really makes me excited about the other small characters WDI could make. Personally, I wouldn’t mind seeing them making Bambi and Faline.
the lifelike gaze feature is so creepy and honestly a bit terrifying, but so intensely interesting and cool!! i'm stoked to see it in action
the cars one is so cool, they truly brought the movie to life, thats wild
They TOTALLY need to make a general grevious animatronic
That’s insane that the lightning McQueen show was temporary. That whole giant animatronic setup that moves exactly like in the movies seems too expensive, amazing and mechanically beautiful to get rid of after awhile. Crazy.
It just shocks me how close we are to actually having a Westworld...
Animatronics are advancing so fast. It's so amazing
i hope they make a bear with a top hat, a bowtie, and maybe even a microphone. he might get lonely, so maybe give him some friends, like a chicken, or a bunnie! possibly a fox as well.
Yes free roam animatronics. Now all we gotta do is get Disney, Chucky E. Cheese, and Scott Cawthon to work something out.
Lol
Wow these are all so impressive! The stunt robot really opens up new possibilities for live shows, and the 'gaze' one looks like it's actually paying attention to you it's scary! Wonder if we will get Terminators any time soon? (robot legs fall over and someone has to catch it) Ok maybe not just yet, but we're getting there!
Not just live shows, but also as stunt doubles for actors in movies and high budget shows. It'd be more convincing than CGI, that's for sure.
@@BrightWulph True! It's just an amazing piece of work and I'd love to see how it will be used
They need to make a Walt Disney Animatronic, have him walk out on main street and say the famous opening day words speech for like the 70th anniversary or something
That would be cool... but seems kinda creepy to me
That would be terrifying.... it’s brilliant.
I think they are trying to move away from associating the brand Disney with the person Walt Disney, probably because of his problematic associations.
“A free roaming animatronic!”
WAS THAT THE BITE OF 22
Who knew that Disney could rival Boston Dynamics in robot technology, well in my opinion that is. Oh geese imagine if they both teamed up to make a robot...
7:56 Okay but seeing a realistic Lincoln up close talking and looking at you is terrifying, in a really cool way.
The facial expression demo creeps me out. 😐
4:54 *Starts singing Technologic by Daft Punk*
I am in awe that people get to wake up every day and work on these robotics. 😍
My first thought with project Kiwi is how easy they would be to stuff into a backpack and steal
Disney never stops impressing me with their ultra realistic and cool looking animatronics
I went to Disney world about three years ago for the first time and i was so very excited to see all of the very cool animatronics
4:54 Buy it, use it, break it, fix it
Trash it, change it, mail - upgrade it
So just be aware: the characters do tend to wander a bit. Uhh, they’re left in some kind of "free-roaming mode" at night. Uhh... something about their servos locking up if they get turned off for too long. Uhh... they used to be allowed to walk around during the day, too, but then there was the Bite of '87. Yeah... I-It’s amazing that the human body can live without the frontal lobe, you know?
The roaming animatronic has me worried for any Night Shift workers at Disney
Not too hard to survive until 6 A.M. in a big park. There are characters everywhere though...
These eye tracking prototypes are AMAZING! I'd love to see a beastly animatronic with both that system and the 1000 technology. For example the Beast in actual beast form, or a dragon or something.
0:25 imagine an animated movie without cgi
This already looks cooler than any animated movie
That kiwi project makes me wish for an animatronic of one of my characters, Little M, imagine how cute she would look like!
Imagine being a night guard there ✨✨✨✨
projecting screen faces are pretty creepy though because the faces are super bright or black when there now working
I really hope they get rid of the projection faces. It’s works for some things like the Mickey railroad ride but for 3D style figures, it look bad. Figures like beauty and the beast in Tokyo and the little mermaid in DCA is what we should be getting. Not projection faces like in the Frozen ride.
I think the realistic gaze animatronic would make a great addition to the parks! It would make animatronic meet and greets more interesting!
And a free roaming animatronics
2014 flashbacks
I remember the first time I rode Radiator Springs Racers, I was blown AWAY by how incredible those animatronics were!! Doc Hudson was so fucking lifelike, variously incredible work they've done on that ride!
I absolutely love those guys!
Great video! Keep making every week better for thousands of Disney geeks
Greek geeks here.
THANK YOU I WAS LOOKING FOR A VIDEO TO WATCH
Ok with this type of tech, we need a ride based off of portal
with a neurotoxin feature at the end, for added realism
I’ve been trying to find information on Disney’s newer animatronics but I kept finding older animatronics, and it was hard to tell where they were from. I really want to go see them. This is the best video I’ve found, explaining the evolution of them, the names of the animatronic fleet/series, and also where to find them. Thank you!
I would love to see a fictional alien zoo with such technology, like imagine making a whole zoo about a fictional planet and seeing so many different creatures
Oh my gosh I would love something like that
I've never been this early to a video! I'm so excited
Awesome video! Can’t wait for more!
Those are INCREADIBLE! Thanks for always making me discover new things and keep up the good work!
The stuntrobot is awesome! Thanks for making this vid!
Now that the Campus is open and to see Spider-Man swinging in real life is so crazy and the fact it’s a lifeless animatronic but moves so real is almost unbelievable
4:59 Buy it, use it, break it, fix it
Trash it, change it, mail - upgrade it
Charge it, point it, zoom it, press it
Snap it, work it, quick - erase it
Lol 😂🤣🤣 Daft Punk Chucky Technologic robot
wow this is getting better n better rn
9:29 damn, that's some Ghost in the Shell level shit right there
I love Ghost in the Shell.
And Blade Runner.
I think that robot it's like the Puppet Master.😍😎👌
Hands down my favorite RUclips channel keep up the good work guys :)
If they combined the Stuntronics and the A-1000 into one robot, it would completely blow Boston Dynamics out of the water.
No doubt working on Disney at night is the closest thing to Fnaf in real life
This is all pretty cool!
Absolutely insane!! It is nice to know the actual model type names tho! Thank you!!
first it'll be Groot, then Lilo and Stitch (sudden thought of a Nani cast member with them acting like they're also park goers xD), maybe even Rueben for a small bit, Olaf. There's gonna be a lot of kids having their minds blown seeing these life sized characters walking among them
the A 1000 is so good! They makes it looks like the animated character comes to life!
Gaze animatronic: reacts to human
Fnaf fans: OH NO ITS HAPPENING
The stuntronic genuinely makes me excited about the future of rides and shows
Man, I love robots/androids and animatronics!!! More, please!
Wow, the animatronics have come a long way since when I first visited disney as a kid.
Great video! Thank you.
truly Awe inspiring, how far Disney has come in Animatronics over the years 😀👍
I love animatronics so much! Disney is absolutely killing it!
I think I'm most excited to see the progress with the Groot type that is mobile, and the one that's learning to react and make eye contact!
Hondo is one of my favorite animatronics, I will wait in that line just to see him. The ride is nice I guess but HONDO.
(also I'm glad someone is talking about the Cars those guys blow my mind constantly)
Dude I swear when robots take over someone’s gonna die to friggin Mickey Mouse
With all the new and complex animatronics being made, it's just a matter of time before robots take over the world and enslave all of humanity.
Detroit: Become Human vibes
Agreed
I don’t think that will ever happen considering there is no reason to program them with purpose
@@victoriousgray5479 other than show profits
I would be glad to serve our new robotic overlords.
Hello I am from the future and I watched the introduction of Avengers Campus on the Disney Parks channel and I can say that they’re definitely using the stuntronic in the land! It is said that it will be set off at random periods of time while the land is open so guests can see Spider-Man himself flying through the air. It’s truly spectacular!
Creating a stuntronic is one of the best things Disney has ever done. I hope it can reduce the amount of injuries and deaths that stuntmen/women face for the sake of an intense shot.
I want them to try again at the WALL-E animatronic so badddd
Pneumatic Acu-taters.
I can’t wait to try these at a future animatronic-themed restaurant!
Edit: 7:05
😂😂😂
I propose the restaurant use magenta, pink and blue as the theme colors and put shiny gloss everywhere on the bots.
Haha I was looking for this comment
I'm in awe after watching this.
Stuntronics: *exist*
Circus Acrobats: All right, our jobs are gone. Pack up and go home.
All we need is FNAF themed park ride bro
If theres ever an animatronic apocalypse, Disney is to blame
Disney animatronics will never stop blowing my mind
I love a 100+ and a 1000’s the pancakes mothers seem perfect instead of switching from hydroelectrics to electric
