2:45 the fact that there’s a misconception that the “bracken room” spawns a bracken or that it takes bodies there when it literally cannot take bodies to that room is kind of funny.

This is actually a somewhat common game development technique used for AI that roam & chase as well as some other kinds, as it allows for an easy way to control and adapt movement, especially between different environments. As long as there are traversable paths and a set of nodes (checkpoints, roampoints -- whatever you may call it), you can hypothetically place an AI in any environment and have it work! This particularly makes sense for the varied moons and randomly generated facilities/mansions of lethal company, both making it easy to make new enemies and new maps without needing to adapt much.
Damn! Production quality on this is sick. I suspected that it could be the case of no nodes behind the shack on Adamance because Successfully hiding from 2 giants back there seemed far to lucky. Good to actually know for certain.

One question I’ve always had is “what happens if an entity checks off every node without moving to another phase to reset them?” Obviously such a thing is unlikely if not completely impossible in normal gameplay, but I can’t help but be curious
dude can you please explain how AI nodes work again? i watched all your previous videos but never did you give a precise explanation as to how exactly enemies will "xhoose nodes on one side of the map and then on the other side"
The ai Always knows its curent node and its next node and If it Checks Off a node it picks the closest node to that node to be the next next node making it Pick another node Close by on each Side creating a Back and forth pattern Hope that helps

Yeah nodes are super common and rightfully so, that doesn’t make it any less clever of course. A savvy worker uses all of their tools
