this anime shows how fast love is manifested and the only thing stopping u from realizing it is your reasoning. They have a very realistic relationship as we see them not having that materialistic feelings towards each other, but both were open to each other and already had a family kind of relationship. They were not overly possessive of each other and trusted each other to not cheat (it was ok for Hori to worry that she gets cheated on by a boy Miyamura's ) .

I really wished the anime was properly produced, not rushed into a 13-episode anime. I know we got the sequel but it’s just mushed together. Had they made it into a 25 episode journey, who knows what a bigger masterpiece this would’ve been. It’s okay tho, I’m glad this exists.
I found Horimiya when I searched for the best romantic manga, and it placed on top in MAL. I started read it, and I will never forget the beautiful and warm story of it. Until I found its early 4 anime episodes adaptation, I was really happy. Then, couple years later, a new anime adaptation series announced. I was like waiting for it every single month. I'm really love and feel satisfied with this anime adaptation.
Yeah i too feel satisfied with the story, i feel the people who say they rushed it isn't because of the pacing of the story its more like they want more of the story, although I've only watched the anime (for now), i am assuming there are arcs that were skipped (i may be wrong and it is infact that the manga just had a lot contents on an arc instead, correct me if am)

This anime is something else I don’t think I can ever get from anywhere else. This takes me away from real life issues and just lets me enjoy the moment while it lasts. I've put off romance anime for most of my young years. I just thought it'd be another RomCom anime, silly laughs and stereotypical love. I recently went through a break up (how original) and I kinda wanted to cheer myself but giving some self-delusions of a future that could have happen or will happen after this heartbreak. I watched Horimiya out of curiosity and perhaps selfishness. ...I came out of that anime crying so much with envy, joy, and pure hope. I didn't know I could feel that way before watching this anime. It's on a whole different level of how to portray a couple and love and understanding and, ultimately, Life itself and how things can change when you least expect it. And oh how big of a change that could be. Even listening to this OST video, I teared up because of how deep this anime has engrained itself into me and how I've let it do so with open arms. I implore anyone who is seeking any sort of anime or a love story or even a story of life to WATCH THIS ANIME. WATCH HORIMIYA. I can't stress it enough...
Its amazing how the author was able to build an amazing anime like this. The ost and everything just fits in and makes you feel like you're in the story. Truly an amazing experience, and its a shame it has to end with a S1, and sum side story episodes.. I would love to see a 2nd season but webcomic shows no avail with a portrait of Miyamura and Kyoko with their new child Kyouhei Miyamura. Cried 5 times while only rewatching it twice. (the 2 last eps of s1 we're magnificent)
