"Instead of a shadow, bright sunny days are what follow behind you. My whole life, the only person i knew this well was myself" Ughhh he Izumi said those words it brought me tears because i know how that truly feels
And in season 2 Hori said something similar but she wanted to know more about him. Sadly, Anime showed the growth of Miyamura and Hori but they forgot to highlight the changes in Hori behaviour in school. And they cut so many scenes short which made me feel I watching many short stories which gets cuts after climax or we only get a movie with only second half. Also season 2 was a completely a different story. For me Horimiya ended after 6 episodes. Web comic is better than removing different character episodes from season 1 and putting them in season 2. And still both season has a lot of empty endings which made me feel empty as well. This is surely not a happy story experience, nor sad or bittersweet. It left me confused after 6-7 episodes. But even after that this was worth the watch. Still prefer original content over Anime.
After finishing rewatching the first season and finishing the missing pieces and listening to this I have never cried like this for any anime I cried for the emotional hits here and there, wether it’s sad or action fight scenes, but this series give me clarity of clearness, next thing I know I was crying for an hour, overall a top anime for me to watch yearly tradition
"There's no distance. I've never been this close to someone before. In my life. Boundaries don't apply to us, and I'm used to be terrified of that. It shook me to my core, Hori. But you know, because of you, I felt a whirlwind of different emotions I wasn't even aware I could feel. I don't think neither of us realized how nerve-racking simply being yourself around other people can be. No fronts, Just us. Gradually breaking down all walls. But you, made me realize that and then some. And I found myself asking, 'What can I do for you?', 'How many ways I can make you smile?' You're one of the strongest people I know, yet still so fragile, so delicate, so precious. Instead of a shadow, Bright, sunny days would follow behind you. My whole life, the only person that knew this well... was myself. I was oblivious to how breathtaking the world could truly be. And you came in and shattered my reality. Thank you. You told me you wanted a future with me. Thank you. But what can I do for you? How can I repay you for what you've done? The Spring Sky is Bluer than I've ever seen. If I could give you this very sky as a gift, I would in a heartbeat. And again. Nah, I know what you'd like A cake with tons of whipped cream on top, that's more your style."
Teach me how to make the stew is my favorite for sure. The scene where Miyamura saves hori from the wrath of the student council is a good one. This series has such a simple yet fun and emotional soundtrack.
12:52 Hottest 36.5 Degrees is so satisfying and claming and my personal favourite.
SAME
Y'all don't know how much I was searching for this!! Thank you!!!!
