Steve why don't you have your manager set up a Christmas Special on tv with you singing these songs. It certainly makes me feel sentimental and gives me that Christmas spirit. I'm sure many people would absolutely enjoy it. Plus many people need and want the GREAT vocalist Steve Perry on national television. No Journey songs just these tunes.

I've heard him sing this song a few times now and I gotta admit, I'm getting used to his version. I especially am thankful that he shared his past Christmas's seeing that he is particularly private with his personal life. Made me feel like I was sitting on his sofa looking through his photo album with a warm holiday drink.

Seeing all the pictures of little Stevie makes me think of being little again. I think he needs to do a documentary of his life. I would love to see it or at least write a book. If he doesn't want to publish it because of hurt feelings at least write it to be published later for our kids' kids. They need to know why we love him so much. How he sang his heart out for us and worked so hard. How he suffered loses and felt pain. How he was betrayed and how his love brought him back to us. Don't ever forget the fans, we won't you.

While watching this it makes me think that he miss the old days, he miss his family specially his Mother and every Christmas will never be thesame when you lost your love ones. This year I lost my dad 😥 and me being away during his burial because of pandemic is the most painful days of my life. And Christmas will never be the same. I grew up in big a family and my dad's motto every Christmas is all of us complete in Christmas day having Christmas dinner together and having karaoke that will never ever happen again. 😥 thanks steve for reminding me Christmas is still there; we may lost our love ones, they may not with us physically but in our hearts and power of memories we keep them forever. Argh.. this makes me cry :( merry Christmas in advance steve I hope you'll be surrounded with all the people who truly loves you and I hope you won't be alone on Christmas. Your songs are indeed a blessing to our hearts, to our ears.

This is an absolutely beautiful, melodic version. Grew up with these tunes. I could listen to Steves voice every day for the rest of my life. His immaculate range has fascinated me; since the early 80's; pulling all-niters playing the same song; over & over again.

Hi Mr. Perry, I’m a teacher off for the summer so I’m doing a lot of reminiscing, and studying for a certification to teach severe learning disabilities. During my breaks from studying I look for whatever videos I can find of you singing. I’ve grown up on Journey ( I’m now 64 years young)but most of all your precious voice; a phenomenon for sure. Your singing brings back fond memories of my younger days looking for love and happiness.
