    Mr Sajan you visited my house under construction along with Joy in the year 1991 -92 in Coimbatore we were 1st persons to bring Laurie Baker tecnology we employed 4 masons from castford (subject to correction Vijan was the senior Mason)

    With all due respect to Mr. Laurie Baker, it cannot be ignored that he never understood the soul of Kerala Architecture.
    By only exploring the "inexpensive" side he ended up making awful living spaces. Look at the buildings he made and ask yourself whether you will ever be happy living in that space.
    Mr. Laurie Baker could never make an impact like Mr. Geoffrey Bawa did in Srilanka.
    He is partially responsible for the current pathetic condition of Kerala architecture!

      Just because its not your taste, it doesn't become awful. There are alot of people whop admire his work and also wants to create something similar to that.
