I resent the term 'low cost'. I am sure it is unintentional, but it has pejorative undertones. 'Cost-effective' is, in my view, a more fitting term.

Shantanu Khandkar well said saying low cost is sometimes misunderstood by people

@@gl.designs I feel otherwise. Cost does not equal value, and Baker mastered the art of delivering value at low cost. We all need to open ourselves to the fact that low cost does not mean cut-price. Low-cost is the perfect word. To quote Baker "So right from the word go I was involved with the lowly, the small town people, the depressed, and the question was always of trying to make a little money go as far as possible. Whether I wanted or not, I got into low-cost design but I got more and more interested in it. "

*Cost effectiveness varies from city to city. More in some places and less in where the raw materials are easily accessible!*

Are all these houses really 'cost effective' or not too expensive? Is there any way Baker Sir can be contacted? Does he assist in finding out sources (material I mean) for such construction?
