Soul Music by Terry Pratchett

Terry Pratchett was a hero to me. No-one has influenced me more as a writer. This is one of my favourite books, Soul Music. I love that in this moment of serenity near the end of the book, at the height of the emotion, he undercuts it with at least three jokes.
