@@krabikabik3485 The Tawa is extremly comfortable. But the shoe get pretty warm and the sole is a bit slippery in comparision to the inflict. The Inflict looks fresh and is breathable. Both had good ankle support. The Inflict feels lighter on the foot, and the Tawa feels just great on the ground, more like a comfy sneaker. Both are great shoes. If you must decide between both just ask yourself if you prefer top grip or a comfy fit. *Sorry for my bad english, im from austria
I’ve been using these shoes since I wrestled in high school, can’t recommend them enough. Comfortable enough to feel like an extension of your foot, tremendous grip, and I just feel faster wearing them. Only shoe I’ll wear for wrestling, and when I’m hitting the bag and have to wear shoes, these are my go to. I am a Muay Thai practitioner, so I only use them for striking if I have to, but I would highly suggest them to someone looking for these for any purpose. Their performance and price point is excellent
@@Detonat0rx I’ve always gone a half size up and they fit like a dream. The shoe runs a little narrow, so If you have very narrow feet you can probably go true to size, but if your feet are larger/wider they can be uncomfortable
I’d say he’s got quite some reviews on boxing shoes, and he can’t buy every pair out there just for the review either. This channel has been my best source for reviews so far, even though I haven’t had the chance to compare in detail. But he is so damn good at explaining in detail why he loves it for his use and his feet, and will always tell if something probably will be perfect for narrow feet even though his are wide. He’s also not criticizing shoes for not doing what they’re not made for. But he’ll do things like mention why som hybrid shoes are good for overall training, while others are better for sparring and fight night. I’m personally curious about the superare shoes because he explained to us how they are possible to break in, even though the toe box is a bit narrow. Personally I love the look of them and I’m a bit on the fence about buying them (in a positive way) as they come in half sizes. I’m a 45.5 or even 45.1/3 in a few cases when it’s possible to break in the toe box. I’m hoping 45.5 is good enough for me, as I’m worried 46 will be a too long shoe. I hate stumbling in shoes that aren’t snug enough, as I’m very busy doing intricate footwork.
Thanks again my son just started wrestling and it’s been hell finding wrestling shoes that fit because of his wide feet I will check these out! Your new name is clutch time Carlo
The amount of D1 wrestlers that wear these is insane. I started paying attention and over half of them are wearing them. Idk if that's because of Nike sponsorship or what, but I love mine.
@@csquaredboxing Received them my bro. Did some solid rounds last night. I went half a size up. Usually a US 10, but I went US 10.5 and it fits great. I'd recommend sizing up by half cause they run a bit narrow, if anyone is looking at getting these!
Fantastic video! I'm going to buy the scraplife ascend one as my first shoe but I'm bying this one son after. Thank you for the great detail. I was really curious on how wide the toe box was as it's hard to tell whe your looking at a photo on a retail website. Liked and subscribed.
What about the Nike Tawa shoes? I’m a beginner in Wrestling and struggle, Should I buy inflicts or tawas? normally I have size 8 for street shoes but by Wrestling shoes I have size 7,5 (Adidas havoc) but I got these already used. I hope you answer/help me😅👍🏼

Another great review Carlo 👏. I was wondering if you had some recommendations for kids gloves. My son is about to have two years boxing so I think it's time to retire his Amazon hawk brand 4oz gloves. Thinking of getting him 6oz gloves since he's four feet 55 pounds. Wanna get something a bit better now since he really likes it. Thanks!
Hi Carlo, atm i’m training with running shoes, i usually train 20% indoor/ 80% outdoor. My running shoes has zero ankle support and spongy feelings. Do you recommend them in my situation? I’m also interested in nike tawa, I’m undecided, thanks!🤝🏼
From what I've seen these and the Adam's boxing boots seem to be the most comfortable. Which would you say has better performance? I like the use of velcro straps on the Adam's reminiscent of hyper ko's and reebok bucks, but don't like that trainers have thick outsoles. Inflicts look good, but I like a snug upper that doesn't move much. Any opinions?
Do you know the exact height of the sole (distance between foot and ground)? I was looking into these for powerlifting comparing to notorious lifts that are 2-3 mm sole height
I've never tried Nike boxing/ wrestling shoes. I've never even tried wrestling shoes for boxing. I've always been too afraid that the sole would be too grippy and or I don't have a good canvas feeling. I do like low top boxing shoes. As time has past, how do you feel about these?

Would these be good shoes for powerlifting if you are looking for a truly flat, 0 drop shoe that are aesthetic also lol? Like almost barefoot. Would they last long in this case since you are only wearing them for purposes of lifting?
Yes definitely, you feel more planted. I’m not a power lifter by any means, but I can see this would be beneficial so you feel like you have a better foundation
if anyone is thinking about getting them, you should. even fresh out of the box theyre comfy and make you want to box more
