I like the box hog specials I have the same pair as these ones in the video. I also have a pair of everlast elite boxing shoes and I DONT like them at all. They feel so awkward on my feet and my footwork looks and feels weird when I wear them if you know what I mean 😂
I also prefer a wrestling shoe because of the footwork you can achieve with them, plus I like getting low and taking longer reaches, it makes it easier to the fold downwards with less restrictions on my ankles. I don't have weak ankles so it doesn't bother me.
Yes, they have good ankle protection. I think box hog 3 is a little better for that. Neither have laces long enough to wrap around. My Reebok boxing boots have laces long enough to wrap around the ankle.
@@JordanMilleronyoutube the Reebok are not produced anymore unfortunately. I broke my ankle wearing Nike Machomai 2 and I am looking for a boot with good ankle protection, any suggestions?
If you like Nike, the Nike Freeks are a little wider. ASICS in general are a little more wide as well and they have a lot of affordable options. I’m told the Matflex is the most comfortable
I sold this pair, but replaced them with another. I would say they last the normal amount of time for a pair of boxing shoes, maybe 9 months if they are the only pair you use
What are your favorite shoes to box in?

ANONYMOUS GUY For sure. Footwork in wrestling shoes is so nice; you get really good feedback.
I have tried wrestling shoes and boxing boots. The boxing boots are better for me. Better support and my support inserts work better.
Yeah, wrestling shoes have a lower, thinner ankle.
Barefoot feel is most healthy way to train. Arch support and elevated heel just weakens your feet and causes overpronation and fallen arches!
Nope
Do you feel like those Box hog have good ankle protection? Also, are the laces long enough so you can tie it around the ankle?

Could you use boxing shoes for wrestling?
No
Whats your recommendation for wide feet wrestling shoes?

Damn i didn't know you wrestled too. You got a great base for mma.
Just need to add in some Brazilian jiu-jitsu 😜
@@JordanMilleronyoutube that's easy enough but that base is perfect.
@@wingoreviewsboxingandmma3667 it’s not easy u idiot
Hey sir question which shoe do you prefer for footwork your reeboks or adidas
I like the adidas. Lighter and foot feels closer to the ground.
Can you do a review on the box hog specials you have? Im eyeing on buying them! Just wanna hear and see a review first.
I can do that. I like them, but I think I prefer box hog 3
Great video so articulate
Thanks!
Thank you
Yah, thanks. I agree that wrestling 🤼♂️ boots 🥾 are just as than boxing 🥊 boots 🥾 for boxing 🥊.
Thank you!
I imagine a Under Armour FLOW wrestling shoe
how durable are the nike inflict 3? Have they held up over the past few years?
I sold this pair, but replaced them with another. I would say they last the normal amount of time for a pair of boxing shoes, maybe 9 months if they are the only pair you use
Sir, is the Nike Inflict 3 has good cushion for the heel?
Hey there. Very minimal cushion in the Nike Inflict 3 throughout the whole sole. Thin padding.
