The best wide receivers in the NFL pose a constant threat to the secondary. These are the players that have any Quarterbacks trust because they have the ability to go up and get the ball regardless of the circumstances. The scary part is along with glue hands, a couple players also have the elite speed and quickness to take the top off the defense and be considered the fastest players in NFL history. These are the top 10 best wide receivers in NFL history. - Спорт
Nice to see Cris Carter on the list. I don't think he gets enough credit.
Cris Carter might have had the best combination of hands and feet of any receiver ever.
bill harvell cris carter and larry fitzgerald have the 2 best pair of hands ever.
bill harvell Racist bastard
Hes great but not better than TO
bill harvell agree he is one of my favorites . When Vikings had him and Moss at same time was straight gangster
Sterling Sharpe maybe the second best wide receiver I've ever seen a lot of you guys need to watch film on this man
Favre would agree.
Lighten up, it's a party!
I agree he was my favorite and even Jerry rice said if he wouldn't of gotten hurt he would of had amazing numbers.
Na its moss
Paul Warfield is the 2nd best receiver based on two stats: yards per catch (20.1) and receptions per TD (5.02). Warfield is the only receiver in league history with 400+ receptions and 20 ypc. Receptions per TD is my own stat and certainly not standard. Don Hutson is the only other receiver with an RPT better than Warfield's. Rice has an RPT of 7.8, but the game was different in his era. Warfield's teams attempted less than 30 passes per game over his career, and relied on the deep pass more than NFL offenses of today.
Sharpe had incredible production while playing on some crappy Packers teams with Don Majkowski at QB. If he had played 12 years or so with Montana, Marino or even Phil Simms, he'd have a bust in Canton.
Comment on who you think deserves or does not deserve to be on this list! Also please like this video and subscribe for more. Thanks!
Switch Issac Bruce and Tim Brown you've got yourself a list
NFL Top Ten you forgot to put me on the list
Where's Don Hutson?
flamingobandit No
NFL Top Ten I think Larry Fitz should be higher then Johnson
No Don Hudson??? He literally was the pioneer of modern day receivers and was the first to run multiple routes still being ran today. He was also so ahead of his time the Packers had to pay him twice as much as anyone else.
The lack of respect and notoriety for Hutson is downright criminal. He was the greatest WR of the pre-passing era. It's not even a conversation. The fact that he has gone mostly forgotten just doesn't sit right with me
People give Odell credit for one hand catches cris carter was doing them before Odell and im not saying sorry
Why would you say sorry? All you said was Odell wasn’t the first person to catch with one hand. Cris Carter wasn’t ether. What an irrelevant statement
Jere Vandewalle It’s funny that Odell can leap over peoples heads and catch balls one handed, but he can’t catch a pass that’s right in his hands
Randy Moss: a freak of nature and the most naturally gifted WR to ever live. When he came to New England in 2007 , it was a revelation to how awesome he could be in the right hands
I'd argue Megatron was the most naturally gifted. Just as fast as Moss, taller, stronger, higher vertical
@@calvinsimpson1301 no not a higher vertical & no quite as fast. Randy has a 50inch record vertical
@@reasonforliving3174 lol no. No he does not. He had a 39 inch vert at the combine, not even MJ had a listed 50 inch vert
@@calvinsimpson1301 look it up. Randy actually had a 51 inch vertical & 4.25 40yd dash. Megatron had a 4.35. It has been known since he started playing. How old are you?
@@calvinsimpson1301 look it up. Easy find. Long been known. Moss was very strong too, just slender. Could so a ton of push ups!
Love your channel bro and I'm loving how consistent you've. Even bro!
Been*
Thanks man. Been busy these past couple of months, but i'm planning on posting at least once a week from now on. Be sure to stay tuned, and feel free to comment your opinion on lists to do or whether or not you agree with some of my choices!
Deandre Hopkins doesn’t wear gloves sometimes he’s a beast and I’m a pats fan
I’m a texans fan and he is NOT top ten
He’s top 10 in the current NFL for sure. Not top 10 all time
what are the purpose of gloves?
I'm a pats fan too
Dylan Wu it improves your catching
“He didn’t wear gloves”
Oh, thank goodness. I've been getting flamed all over the internet for saying that receivers should not be allowed to wear gloves, which I know are all rubber palmed and a way around the Stuckum rule. Largent was the man - without gloves, and had genuinely super hands. I'm glad that other NFL'ers agree with me.
What I liked about Randy when he played for the Vikings is the fact that Randall Cunningham was QB at the time.
5 year olds on here like where Odell Beckham jr
Legend yeah
Legend #23mil #hall of famer history
Legend #23mil #hall of famer fax😂
LegendHD what I was gonna comment
LegendHD Odell Beckham sucks and had on lucky catch
If Larry Fitzgerald played his whole career with the Patriots, Colts or Packers with Favre & Rodgers, hed be considered one of the top 3 WRs ever. But he had some bad QBs in Arizona, ended up having 2 seasons under 800 yards in his early 30's.
He also had some great QBs, he could've left the cards if he wished
Yeah that's my only problem with Larry Fitzgerald it's the fact since Kurt Warner retired from football his career has seen hard times
Who did CC have?😂😂😂
Where is LANCE ALWORTH I AM OFFENDED
This is the first video I’m seeing from this channel. Let me start by saying I had low expectations. Most channels have horrible lists. However, this was spot on from 10 to 1. I instantly subbed when the video was done.
Bullshit
Very good list!
I hate the Raiders, but Tim Brown shouldn't be an honorable mention.. He deserves to be on this list, and the stats show that.. The only thing he doesn't have is a SB ring like half the people on this list..
I was there when Marky Mark reversed fields and took it your houchy hut. # 32 by the way .
How do you make a top 10 WR list without putting Don Hutson or Lance Alworth on it?
Hutson is the GOAT. PERIOD.
AWESOME COLLECTION ! WELL PUT TOGETHER NOT MUCH OF AN ARGUMENT FROM ME. !!!
This is funny. I've only seen and followed your Instagram but now I just randomly found your RUclips channel😂
Like him or not Terrell is top 3 only 2 that can go above him are randy moss maybe and of course jerry rice #1
Philosopher Mr. O tony Gonzalez a te
Seth Parker gamer fr😂 I was bout to end dis boi life for saying "Tony Gonzalez was a We"😂
Kyle Johnston Larry?
CC is better then T.O. The rankings are pretty good. Carter was also the greatest sideline catcher ever.
@Chris Paul Did you see numbers, or do you not know how to read stats?
I'm not arguing Tim Brown is a top 10, I'm arguing that guy who said if he wasn't injured and the other side of the bay he's all of a sudden Jerry Rice... nope
Yes, Rice was just a good receiver in a great system. He was no Randy Moss on the talent scale.
@@greysonG10 yes he was dude. If u dont know that? Ur dumb. Because can randy moss catch a short pass At the like 5 yard line but getting to the td? Randy moss couldnt. Ur just a weirdo go watch soccer kid
@@qurtysells8719 Why are you calling a grown man a kid?
@@greysonG10 bc ur a kid
I heard that narrative for years living in the Bay Area from salty Raiders fans and always laughed it off like a joke.
Don Hutson, Bob Hayes, Charley Taylor, Lance Alworth
IMO hutson is the greatest pass catcher in the history of the NFL. Rice's production never even came close to matching Don's.
Art monk and downtown Charlie Brown..my all time favorite duo
Steve largent didn't have hands cause he didn't use he gloves he had hands cause he knew how to use both of them
@Alli Laguetar Lmao ikr
Mr. 89 Steve Smith Sr. Honorable mention at the very least
I agree with the video.
That’s crazy man the Vikings had the number 2 and 3 playing together at the same time
Where was Andre Reed
Where he belongs - not on this list.
@@bobrezac4507 Lmfao
Maybe in top 20
Top 15 maybe but not top 10 and I'm a bills fan.
He should have been there instead of isaac bruce
Where's Don Hutson and Lance Alworth
Hutson is the goat.
Damn, I've never really looked at Largent but he made a bunch of bad ass catches
I also like that you put Cris Carter and Randy Moss right next to each other
Can someone explain how T.O. has significantly greater receiving yards and receiving touchdowns than Cris Carter, but is ranked behind him? No, you can't, because it makes no sense.
Zach Cothern stfu nobody cares
And nobody likes a clown..which T.O. is..
Cris Carter was the one who made Randy Moss who he was. Not only that but Cris Carter had way better hands than T.O. could ever dream of.
Because that's just yards not skill
If you want an explanation than here, Carter was just plain a better reviver. Faster cuts, faster overall, better route runner. Some would put T.O over some would put Carter over, it’s really a matter of opinion and bias. But there both very amazing.
those 3 years wit no qb hurt Larry he's top 5 all time
Raymon Draymond 3 years no qb, he had Kurt Warner for a couple and Palmer for one, he had no qb for ages
Raymon Draymond fun fact: larry caught td passes from 13 different qbs.
@Brandon Rose And he also had 11 other horrible ones lol
I Think Larry Number 3
Don Hudson and Paul Warfield..... John stall worth too. They used to play defence back in the day :))
Agree
Where on Earth is Don Hutson?
Art Monk???
Dam right!!!! I think he should be in the top five of best receivers of all time
Not even top 15
Dude sucked.
TE
Art Monk, Paul Warfield, Steve Largent, Lynn Swann, John Stallworth, Drew Pearson, Fred Belitnikoff. The 70’s era Wide Receivers get overlooked now because of the Fantasy Football era we’re in.
Largent had no stickum or gloves , plus less than 6 ft BEAST
Your top 4 are solid. Have to think Swann would be in there somewhere. Maybe take Fitzgeralds place or Irvins.
Sterling Sharpe
Woodland Airsoft Absolutely
I agree 100% and if it weren't for his career ending injury perhaps even the best!
Jerry Rice is the GREATEST WR of all time and regardless of what some of these comments say, it isn't even close. This coming from a Cowboys fan. Also, speaking of the Cowboys Michael Irvin & Tim Brown are way too low on these rankings and Cris Carter didn't have the career that they did , especially early on when he was having the drug and behavioral issues.
SayWhatchaLike Sports Podcast I agree
@Dylan Kellner nope he had joe cool and young for like 14 years. Than he played with the raiders and had 1000 yard season But When moss played for them he sucked.
@Marcus Mitchell how rice greatest player ever period
@Marcus Mitchell everybody used it but rice only one with the balls to admit it.
deion sanders can cover jerry rice
T.O. and Moss plus Jerry then Julio Ocho etc
Anyone know the theme that was playing during Chris carter highlights
Legitimate list, but the most underrated WR if not player ever was Heinz Ward. Greatest blocking WR ever and Toughest SOB to ever play the game and was so consistent. He has over 1,000 receptions and 12,000 receiving yards. Plus won 2 rings I believe. Unless I didn't see Marvin Harrison on this list, He was the epitome of a great receiver also.
I love Ward too! Not top 10 worthy though imo. I'd put someone like Don Hutson over him. Also Marvin Harrison was on the list my friend.
Jerry TO Moss CJ no one else is even in the conversation.
Marvin Harrison randy moss JR TO
You guys are obviously too young to appreciate the game in the run and play D era. It was a lot harder to get open before 2000.... Millennials...
@@doubletake1238 you hit the nail on the head!!!
👍
Easy peasy lemon squeezy:.
1. Jerry Rice
2. Larry Fitzgerald
3. Randy Moss
4. Terrell Owens
5. Marvin Harrison
Although there should be in astrix next to Rice and Fitzgerald...One for Rice because he had two of the greatest quarterbacks of all time throwing to him week in and week out throughout his career in Steve Young and Joe Montana.. something none of the other guys on this list can claim..... you're bound to put up great numbers if you're a great receiver being thrown the ball by those two guys 99% of your career... And an astrix next to Fitzgerald's name because he had the exact opposite as Rice ..he had second and third-string quarterbacks throwing him the ball 85% of his career (and he still finished second all-time in receiving yards.. that in of itself is the most astonishing stat on this entire list!!!) .. he had Kurt Warner for only a couple seasons and Carson Palmer a couple more... Just imagine what Larry Fitzgerald's numbers would be if he had a great quarterback throwing to him most of his career.. would have obliterated Jerry Rice's numbers.
What defines a Wide Receiver is his "soft hands"-the ability to Catch the PASS in ALL WEATHERS, however it is thrown. the following names are men who did it "the old fashion way "sans gloves, adhesives, tape, etc.,- Raymond Berry ,Anquan Bolden, Bobby Mitchell, Lance Allworth , Jimmy Orr, Homer Jones. " CATCHING The FOOTBALL to achieve continuation of advancing offensive team play was of paramount importance "FIRST and FOREMOST" for what is now described as "the possession receiver. Many of the players listed in the video are noted exceptional runners after a catch; but only a few have the capability to "MAKE THE CATCH" when the defensive players are fully aware that ONE is the likely play to advance the offense.
My opinion (like it matters😅) ... MOSS is my number 1 ... RICE #2.
Where was BAMBI?!?
I agree with the list besides Chris Carter
A agree with Justin Hill
Lance Allworth?
Yes bambi was one of the best
Bambi was one of the best
I’m not saying this person is top ten, but he’s probably top 15 (hopefully).....
Sterling Sharpe
Unfortunately his career was cut short bit was really good

We all know Julio Jones is going to be on this list at the end of his career.
Watching this in 2019, and absolutely top 5 when he retires
Hey, cool last name! Our last names are pretty Rare!
WHERE THE HELL IS LYNN SWAN and don houtson
Hutson yes, Swann HELL NO. He wasn't even the best receiver on his own team.
Jake Foraker where is Lance Alworth
Hutson the great Greenbay Packer only played 11 seasons played in 116 games and started only 60 of them back in the 30's and 40's but had 488 catches for nearly 8000 yards and 99 touchdowns when the
forward pass was not the weapon of choice. He set records that stood for 40 years.
@@opium.0003 - Bambi was the first receiver to reach 10,000 career receiving yards and did it in
11 years back when QB's ( John Hadl in Alworth's case ) only threw on an average of 20 to 25 times a game in a 14 game season. 542 catches for 10,266 yards, 18.9 yds per catch and 85 TD's.
Sterling Sharpe should be honorable mention. He would be on this list if his career wasn't cut short due to injury. Him and Favre would've been an awesome QB/WR duo for years!
Need to go back and watch some 70s football.Paul warfield and Fred Belitnakoff
Most impressive thing about those receivers from the early yrs. 80s n 90s. They wasn't playing in this era where u can't even touch a receiver.
HAVANA SCP fitz still takes ray lewis like hits even now.
No swan from 70s Steelers your kidding right
I think you need a couple of wideout categories: pure numbers (Rice) route discipline (Biletnikof), hands (Calvin Johnson), possession (Largent), speed (Hayes or Gault), clutch (Fitzgerald)...
Art Monk, Julio Jones, Sterling Sharpe
Charlie Joiner, Lynn Swann,
Don Hutson
This List is Incomplete
Ikr
Lynn swann over rated
Shocked Don Hudson didn't make the list..He was the pioneer of modern day receivers and created routes that are still ran today.
before I watch this Jerry Rice or Randy Moss have to be here.
XxCUZMYNAMEISJOEL xX and TO
Art Monk broke the record for career receptions and is not even on the list?
That's beyond ignorant.
What about Paul Warfield
I can't comment on prior to 70's. After watching football since then, I've never seen anyone like Moss.. I've seen Rice play.. And I get the numbers.. But if I was a coach, Moss hands down.. His deep threat changes defenses..
Steve Largent should be higher
Shouldn't even be on the list
Alf Jones - Evan Moore Bacon lll Really? The first receiver in history to catch 100 TD passes shouldn’t be on the list?

evrey single steeler fan is ao mad like me WHERE IS LYNN SWAN
Randall Ferguson or hines ward or santonio holmes
Randall Ferguson you are correct
ikr, AB is a great WR but idk if he should be the top 10 in history
Randall Ferguson
I think most steeler fans know stallworth was better..
LOL Swann wasn't even the best receiver on his own team.
where is andre reed and mark clayton?
Jason Hailey Andre Reed should be on this list. Take Irvin off.
The great duo tandems, swan/stallworth, clayton/duper
Biletnikoff/branch.
Seems a bit prejudiced list to me.
But Moss is #1, no ifs ands or buts.
😉
As a life long lions fan I have to say Calvin should be further down on the list. I would put Fitzgerald,Irving,Largent,Tim Brown,Issac Bruce all ahead of him. Yes he had great catches but saw him drop a ton of passes & caused many losses because of possible td drops over the years.
Surprised Billy "White Shoes" Johnson isn't on the list, Charley Taylor, Paul Warfield, Lynn Swann, Bob Hayes, Mel Gray, Don Maynard, Lance Alworth, Otis Taylor, Cliff Branch, John Gilliam, Drew Pearson and many others deserving to be on this list, Raymond Berry!
This is a top ten list OAT. Most 60s-70s WRs don’t hold up to all time standards. The only two I think pre 80s who should be in the top 15 are Alworth and Hutson. Other than that all of those guys just didn’t do enough or show enough on film to be put over newer WRs
Largent at 9 isn't right. He retired #1 in everything and played in run first offenses. If he played in Miami, San Diego, San Francisco or DC his numbers would have been even greater. Also he never had a top tier qb. Krieg had his moments but was good at best and Zorn wasn't good.
We all know Steve is #3 at least... He was the best before Rice and Moss..
Largent should be 4. Rice has to be 1. Then it's tough to argue against Moss and Owens at 2 and 3. But Largent should be 4.
Justin Hill would have been better doesn’t make them better tho
He was the standard at which all receivers had to follow bcuz when he retired, he had all the records for a receiver
@@SmoKeFella70804 nope Steve is overrated. He is weak
Calvin Johnson???
DAT BOI Yeah I was thinking same but he didn't play long enough and also played for a crappy team
um52 NO 1 COULD COVER HIM
DAT BOI Hes got the second most receiving yards in a single game
He's at five
yep easy top 5
Deandre Hopkins will be up there one of these days. gotta love Nuk forreal.
Yeah thats a good joke.
Randy Moss is epic and all but it should be Jerry Rice number 1 obvi, then Steve Largent, like do you guys realize how good this beast was, anyway then Randy Moss, but Steve Largest is just so good and he does not get enough credit.
Randy Moss is over all the best receiver. Time is why he's number 2. His skill and athleticism were unmatched. No other receiver could shadow his routes.
After 10 years .....
Rice- 820 rec, 13,275 yds, 131 TD's 16.2 yards per catch
Moss- 774 rec. 12,193 yds. 124 TD's 15.8 yards per catch
The idea that Rice had better stats only because he played long is a complete myth. And when it comes to route running Moss's routes were checkers. Rice's routes were chess.
Xavier Vega The difference was the qbs and offensive coaching sticky rice played with. Insert Moss, he would've smashed sticky rice's stats.
bill harvell LOL keep telling yourself that. Montana didn't have the arm strength to take advantage of Moss's speed, and Moss didn't have the precise route running, timing, or YAC chops to make the WCO work. That's why all of his offenses played a vertical game with him.
because JERRY RICE IS HERE
Don Hutson/Lance Alworth/Charlie Joiner
Steve Largent should be ranked higher...
Russell Wise hell yeah he should
Russell Wise someone been googling WR
During the playoff run the Cards had when they went to the SB, Larry Fitzgerald was unstoppable. Warner could just throw it up in double, even triple coverage and Fitz would go up higher than anyone else and come down with it. Dont believe? Watch the playoff game against the Panthers, wow!
Sillysoft larry can jump to the moon.
Its amazing Bruce only made 4 pro bowls
I'm just going to say this by the end of his carrer Julio Jones will be on this list but maybe like 8 or 9 or 10
julio jones #Wsquad #no L's no
Logan Bryan if his career keeps at this rate, and stats to show fir it, he will be top 5 easlily
Logan Bryan yes
only if he has a good qb. Dont get me wrong hes a good receiver, but nobody can catch passes when Ryan Fitzpatrick is throwing.
DMV Clutch Yes
no lance alworth? bad list
It's though man, so many WRs. My brother gave me crap for not putting him on too haha.
@@SOGFootball You were supposed to get TONS of crap. No Hutson, Berry, or Alworth is RIDICULOUS. My "Field of Dreams" pair is Berry to move the sticks and Rice to break your back.
I love Moss and he made it look so easy. He made men look like little boys. However, people like to make it seem like he had some kind of disadvantage because he didn't have HOF QBs like Rice did. That's nonsense. He played in a great system in Minnesota and was paired with another top 10 receiver in Carter, who I believe was every bit as talented as Rice. Also, he played in a great system in NE for a few years. The only time he didn't have a great system was with the Raiders, and he kind of disappeared when he was with them. He's still top 3 all time but Rice is definitely the GOAT.
Nope you must be crazy if you think the QB you have doesn't matter much
*When two top 5 recovers of all time played together on the same team*
Carter is way over rated in this video he shouldnt be top 5 nor should he be ahead of T.O.. How much everyone hated T.O. After Rice he was probably one of the best receivers to play the game. I'd say him and Moss are tied for second, with T.O. barely edging him for second place if there can't be a tie.
WARNING:
Anybody with a fully functional brain that contains any trace amount of football knowledge, turn the audio off from 0:30 to 0:43. Failure to do so might cause permanent emotional trauma and/or suicidal thoughts.
Nuttinlikeit exactly dude missed 15 games in his second season not like he missed 4 straight years and he would have had to put up 7,500 yards and 97 touchdowns with 500 receptions dude isn’t even close to jerry rice who is a top 10 or maybe even 5 player of all time. I’m a niners fan btw.
Someone explain to me how Moss is better than Rice🤷🏻♂️🤷🏻♂️
His first game against the cowboys says it all lol
Scott Rhoads that’s just one game Rice had the career Moss wish he had
How is he better then Largent
Who played better in the post season Rice or Moss?
Moss was better and should have broken all his records. Just in his early days he was a headcase and then went to Oakland where he wasted years that he could have been gaining on Rice. But he should everyone why he was a guy to be feared when he went to NE. He was untouchable. Plus look at how long Rice played to pad his stats towards the end of his career. He is great no doubt but pure talent wise, Moss is better. But Moss with Montana and Steve Young and tell me he doesn't put up the same numbers but probably better than Rice.
Julio Jones is literally one of the most athletic human beings that might’ve ever lived. A true freak of nature. Bigger, faster, and stronger than all the rest. Where’s my boy Jules at?
Guy Way too soon boi!
stoic romulan Pretty much all of them are on the list bro

3. Steve Largent
4. Cris Carter
5. Terrell Owens
6. Marvin Harrison
7. Michael Irvin
8. Larry Fitzgerald
9. Tim Brown
10. Calvin Johnson
Randy moss is hands down the greatest WR
Hands down greatest deep threat... Yes. Hands down greatest WR... No.
Darth Coface Agree. League of his own.
Saying Randy Moss is the best wide receiver of all-time is like saying the Earth is flat. It is a completely baseless opinion.
Cyclone1006 Ok since you asked... I'll even be nice and knock off Moss's last 2 years which were frankly laughable.
Rice after 12 years- 1050 rec. 16,377 yds. 15.6 Y/R 154 TD's
Moss after 12 years- 928 rec. 14,465 yds. 15.6 Y/R 148 TD's
Even given those conditions Moss STILL couldn't pass Rice.
Now when you consider Moss NEVER even had a 500 yds season after year 12 while Rice after his 12th year had 3 1000 yd seasons and 3 800 yd. seasons, why on Earth would you think that Moss would have passed Rice with the same amount of time played?
LIke I said, completely baseless.
hey dude yards are useless unless you get touchdowns now if you would 156 divided by 14 compared to 197 divided by 20
Another tough list to make, especially when you exclude guys like Herman Moore, Lynn Swan, Antonio Freeman, etc. but those guys probably make the top 20-25 list & your top 10 list is adequate
Swan yea but never heard of the outhers .

Don Hutson. The all-time best player ever.
1. Jerry Rice
2. Randy Moss
3. Terrell Owens
4. Don Hutson
5. Steve Largent
6. Lance Alworth
7. Calvin Johnson
8. Marvin Harrison
9. Cris Carter
10. Larry Fitzgerald
John Doe no Michael Irvin?
John Doe larry at 6, then it is accurate.
You'd better put Paul Warfield in there before Fitzgerald.
Fitz is better than Moss and Owens, he's top 3 all-time. No one has better hands than him. He also has more career recptions and recieving yards than both of them
John Doe u are doing calvin wrong just because he Retired early and his career stats aren’t up there. His season stats are up there with rice!!!
holy shit 2 and 3 played on the same team.at the same time
jackjack attack7 Crazy isn’t it. I loved watching the Vikings of ‘98. Pure entertainment. NFC championship sucked, but hey, what do you do.
I think Don Hudson should have been on this list or at least an honorable mention
