Star Lord Gameplay Marvel Rivals Closed Alpha Test
I started to do better with Star Lord during this game. Pretty easy one, still played pretty safe though.
Star Lord right up there with Spider-Man for one of my weakest during the alpha test. Everyone else seems to do so well with him and pop off, I struggled in most of my games for some reason. Resorted to playing this safer style with him and it started to work better, but everyone else was able to be super aggressive with him and never punished for it I feel lol

loki clones were very bad... you wanna use them for specific instances, if you throw them around the map all day long your feeding.... you can use them to block damage if you think you can bait a headshot. the star lord gameplay was pretty good! those groot walls are perfect to build meter off of and since you were playing from cover it forces them to step out to take shots while the team can assist.
I definitely want to get more Loki games in this beta coming up in July. So many more characters I want to focus on this time around that I didn't spend as much time with as I would have liked. Thanks for thinking my Star Lord gameplay was pretty good - I would really like to get better with him and Spider-Man(by far two of my weakest in the alpha)!
@valstarlight the loki clones are interesting. You could use them as cover in a 1v1 or to block doorways for trapping players in or out

the best way to play star lord is just like tracer... find "pocket" angles, bash shield to build meter and push the flank hard when they dive.

Starlord's voice actor is pretty bad, sounds like Spiderman from aliexpress. At least he looks fun to play
