Magneto has a unique KO line against Iron Man that pretty much confirms that the reason he doesn't just crush him like a tin can is cause he's holding back
Magnetos powers got taken to the absolutel extreme already with him basically just being telekinetic at this point so he isnt lying. But this is superhereos being able to rip apart every atom you are out of is can be considered a survivable nuisance.

They have to do something about the damage disparity between ranged and melee characters. Star Lord is shredding health bars from afar but Black Panther takes ten seconds to empty out the same health bar. He needs better damage as a reward for getting that close and ranged characters need less. Like a grappler in fighting games

This game is being developed by chinese devs, so there's positives and negatives... the positive, if you jerk off to cartoons like a loser, the chinese are not tainted by the "woke" trend, so you can expect "sexy" reskins for Storm, Psylocke and so on... but those skins will cost a small fortune
The melee characters all need buffed desperately. Having Spider-Man and Black Panther in the DPS class and do less dps than literally every healer and tank is really poor balancing. The game looks incredibly fun though.

Yep, this game needs a flying tank and support. Magneto is already half-away there, just have to apply the fly mechanics and tweak the rest. The fact his shield is supposed to attract all projectiles to it, that can create cool visuals, you are shooting and suddenly the bullets are curving upwards. Also, a tank who can fly will be a hard counter to Iron Man, so you can't be more thematic than that, Iron Man has no chance whatsoever against Magneto
I was hoping they'd give Storm an ice-based ability, something like raining down ice spears or slowing down the enemy with an arctic blast. But at least they gave her thunder cakes.

It's tough to balance something like this... Starlord is another example, he has a little weaker Spiderman ultimate on a cooldown. Returning to Overwatch, you have the obnoxious Kiriko who is able to make her team invincible on a cooldown, etc.. the Marvel Rivals devs are making things complicated for themselves
Starlord animation for dodge skill is so cool, not every hero is fully fleshed out but some are showing potential, my favs are storm, Spiderman and magik
Spiderman looks to be the most fleshed out in my pov, I think they designed the whole game based on Spiderman. The giant maps, the third person camera, etc.. and it's a natural outcome, because Spiderman is the face of Marvel, makes no sense to release a "team based" Marvel game without Spiderman
Magik is probably the most powerful and dangerous Non-Omega Mutant. But they did quite good job balancing Sorceror Supreme of Limbo/Soulsword/Stepping Disk/Queen of Limbo/Demon half for what the game allows her to do.

Not going to get too excited, but I am genuinely really interested in this game after seeing this. I already see characters I want to try out, especially Luna Snow, Storm, and Magik. I have no idea how to play these mouse and keyboard games since I play everything with controller, but I finally have a good computer now, so I am willing to learn. Characters all look really interesting and fun, and the paired passives like Scarlet Witch and Magneto's are definitely going to make team-building interesting in the higher elos.
Idk about paired passives if you play with a friend they will probably be really fun but in solo q. I can alrady hear people argueing and trying to force others to swap so they can carry with a team up combo.

Yeah I feel like Star Lord's damage seems way too high. Punisher can also get in some really good damage with his shotgun, turret and of course ult.

So as former overwatch (and paladins) player if I was to compare which characters seem to play similarly: Hulk = DVA, Magneto = Sigma, Groot = Mei (but actually Inara), Black Panther = Genji, Iron Man = Echo, Punisher = the generic assault rifle fps man for people new to hero shooters (Soldier 76/ Victor), Spider-man = dps Doomfist if he controlled like Spider man, Loki = Ying, Rocket = Chip on steroids, Starlord = Lex on steroids
