- As professional athletes coming into any professional sports, you don't get to determine where you will play for the first years of your career. You don't get to pick your coach, teammates, GM or fans like you do in college. Sometimes it works out for you and sometimes it doesn't. Here's an athlete it didn't workout for as of now. Here's 3 reasons why I think their growth was abruptly stunted. Who knows, maybe they'll return to form. I sure hope so. Thank you for watching. Teague is an example when expectations and reality don't match up. People said he had the potential to be better than his brother but when you watched him play he was a guard who couldn't shoot particularly well was turnover prone and wasn't a natural point guard. He needed time to develop in college but because he went to UK and that year they won a chip people took the bait and it was downhill from there. Another good video bro. Keep up the good work.

Granted Jeff wasn't a natural PG when he was drafted either. He developed that part of his game over time. He was more of a 2 at Wake with Ish Smith at PG. I agree with everything you said about Marquis though. Thank god Kirk Hinrich got hurt because Jeff was being Acie Law'd his first 2 years. His career could have been over quick

As a huge UK fan I agree 100% with this video. We've had quite a few guys fall into this category over the Cal era. Mainly bcuz these guys grow impatient with success & feel they have 2 go pro after only a year. When coming back and improving their game has worked well 4 many other guys.....sad but true.

Not pointless at all... you're not watching because of the money, you're watching because of the players. There are plenty of good players in free agency that could get looks by teams and they could get a spot on a roster before the season starts or if a player is retired but still wants to play during the summer... it would be perfect. Isaiah Thomas just dropped 81 in a meaningless Drew League game and Jamal Crawford still getting buckets... neither one are getting played and barely anyone watched it. IT is back in the NBA but if him and Jamal never get called up again, they could continue to play as long as they want. If I was Ice Cube, I'd try to buy the TBT and up the pot and get more notable players.
