  • Here is 6'2" Marquis Teague playing his summer ball with Spiece Indy Heat, as well as his all-star game performances at the 2011 McDonald's All-American & Jordan Brand Classic games. Teague will take over as the "next in line" of crazy PGs under UKs John Calipari.

So underappreciated as a Cal PG. He was the general of our only championship during this Era and people focus on mkg and Davis and totally forget Teague. Sad really.

With Rose out, it's nice to know that they'll have someone that can get in the lane and make defenses react a little bit. Bulls really don't have many guys that can get their own shot so hopefully Teague can come in and facilitate a little.

Good point, Milwaukee has set up that formula for the future with Jennings at the PG and Monta at the SG; it won't be a surprise for them to squeak into the playoffs next season. The small athletic back court formula has worked ala 1980's Detroit Pistons with 6'2" Isiah and 6'3" Dumars. It's definitely worth a shot and CJ would be our Vinnie Johnson. Bottom line is the Bulls got a great pick at 29. Go Bulls.

@kingavery1024 There was definitely not a travel, that was a spin move/ drop step where he spun of his left and took off with his right. The first step with his back to him was done when he dribbled and gathered...
Teague of all of Calipari's recruits reminds me the most of Rose. Explosive first step, tight handle, creative and sometime erratic passing, excellent finisher. While probably not as good as Rose in any category sans ball handles (may even be better) I think he still a great prospect
