There were empty arenas during the past 2 seasons that he could've taken advantage of. Tried a few things offensively. All players brick shots from time to time . Its part of the learning curve. Although I think with his history of injuries, the fact that he's not in his 20's anymore, and the fact that his nba team will likely be making deep playoff runs for a while, I wouldn't be surprised if Bogut doesn't play for Australia anymore. But maybe he could still join the team and just play real limited minutes and be more of a mentor role for all those young kids. You also must have forgot about Joe Ingles. He could be a very useful Point-forward type player for the team, either as a starter or backing up Simmmons. I'm not Australian, I just enjoy seeing basketball continue to grow internationally and I like that the USA doesn't necessarily have a guaranteed run at a championship every single year anymore... Australia is stacked with talent. Spain has guys like the Gasol bros, Ibaka, Rubio, Calderon, Fernandez and Rodriguez. Even Canada has some nice youth that could develop into great talent in a couple years with Wiggins, Olynyk, Thompson, Bennett?, Ennis, Stauskas, Lyles etc. France's core is gettig a little older, but anytime you have Parker, Batum, Diaw, Fournier and crew you'll have at least a chance to excel! Those are just a few examples. Basketball at an international level is better than ever.
