Once again, a terrigic spot you found. Really beautiful with the birds singing away in the background
Just wanted to say that this Vlog and the previous one, #89, are in the top 5 of all of the narrowboating videos I have enjoyed since discovering you and your fellow boaters! There is the secret fleeting "silver lining" of the covid crisis in that the aspect of having the entire world to yourselves really came across dovetailing with that same annual aspect of spring itself. You two seem like such peas in a pod! I have watched all of your videos in the past 3 or 4 months, and they have enriched (no pun intended!) my life.

My friend visited the Home Bargains near us last week and the queue was really long. When she eventually got in there was an announcement telling customers no browsing, make you’re selection and proceed to the checkout, no fannying about! 😁 Your lockdown looks idyllic and I really enjoyed seeing what you’ve been up to. Thanks.
Thanks Sylvia. I can't help thinking that these shops should only have the food aisles open and everything else closed off. One lady sauntered around then ended up going to the checkout with just a chintzy mirror. Hardly essential!
I was surprised no one had on masks in the shop. Here in NC, usa, pretty much every1 is wearing them out. 2moro I get a drive-by virus test as I've been finally rescheduled for my hip replacement on Tues!!! So excited. Let's hope we all keep very well! Peace 2 u both & the viewers! Q
Wishing you our very best wishes for your hip operation and quick recovery. We are still getting mixed messages here about wether masks are good or not. There are none to buy, you would have to make your own. Good luck for Tuesdsy xx
@@FloatingOurBoat Thank you so much! Had to take virus test Sat. so if it's negative I can go, which I'm sure it is. We have a seamstress friend who makes & sells masks in our hometown of Chicago, IL & she shipped them to us. B4 that we watched several youtube vlogs on how to make them of scarves & rubber bands for a no sew version. At least obvious sneeze & breath aerosol wouldn't get in your lungs. Take good care, I want to watch many more as I recover! Peace! Q

Discovered your videos during Covid lockdown in Japan. In the late 70s and 80s my family and I went on several week long narrowboat holidays. I now live in Japan - have done for almost 20 years - and I told my better half - who is Japanese - about them and how much I loved them. So, we watched a couple of videos. She was hooked and now wants to move to the UK and do the same...I cannot see that happening in the foreseeable future, but we make do with your videos!! Not a bad dream to have though! Thank you so much. we are enjoying your back catalogue! Please keep them coming!

Brilliant, up cycling mole hills. Good to see the specks string, I lost my expensive sun glasses in the canal the same week as you, then my fishing net after trying to fish them out, but got the net out with the magnet 🧲

Not so organised that we can't run out of gas though! At least we had back up camping cooker but that was really just luck.

I’ve subscribed and all that (some long time ago) ! So pleased I have. Watch every new video without fail. I guess we have all taken/are understandably still taking, time to adjust to these times. From your vlog it seems you have got a good handle on it, particularly after Rich’s illness. Well done you!! I’m busy planning my fist post-Covid cruise. Maybe I’ll see you on the cut. Hope so..... We are just so happy that Rich got over it. Our lives are normally fairly isolated anyway so I don't think we are seeing the full impact of this that people in towns see. Nature and the countryside is carrying on as normal

Very peaceful there by the aqueduct. No worries about time passing; unlike my bus driving where we're always clock-watching.
We don't even have a clock now and often play the guess the time game as it has lost all relevance
