Have been looking for a backbend class to see how the pilates and gym work have strengthened my back and I’m so pleased to note the progress. I could move into wheel from the side sweeps on both left and right and in a controlled manner without the assistance of momentum. I also appreciated the acknowledgment of Patrick Beach’s move, shows integrity. Thank you.
I am not sure if I have full mobility and all that elegancy for the backbends but I am going to try it soon very slowly... I really thing it's funny the cosmic egg position because I am sure I am going to see some starts after the backbend! Thank you Kate for the interesting yoga challenge😁✨✨⭐⭐🙃😉🧘♂🧘♀
I just found your channel last week and I love it! You provide interesting yoga flows that aren’t too difficult to follow but have challenges to help me progress. Thanks so much!
What a fantastic workout of vinyasa yoga with back bends. I thoroughly enjoyed this wonderful workout. Thanks a lot Kate for such magnificent transitions. ❤️❤️❤️
Backbends are complex! If I can grossly simplify I think there are 3 main things: 1. Shoulder opening - a LOT of backbends (especially wheel) comes from shoulder mobility as WELL as flexibility of the back. So I do tons of shoulder openers including shoulder flossing (example: ruclips.net/video/i5eYcc7HCIE/видео.html) and even incorporating weights (example: ruclips.net/video/i5eYcc7HCIE/видео.html). 2. Strengthen to gain flexibility: I work my core and glutes to support a backbend. They need to be strong to stability the flexibility. The more flexibility you have, the stronger you need to be to stabilize. :) Do a quick 10 min glute and ab workout and it'll warm up your body and you'll feel the difference. 3. Consistency. Practice at least a few times a week. Don't do extreme/intense backbends every day or your back will feel it but you will get more comfortable! Surprize 4! I avoid backbends in the morning. Because when we're sleeping horizontally our spinal discs fill up with fluid, which is good! But the discs take up more mass and make it physically harder to backbend in the morning. They get compressed through the day so I usually practice backbends later. Does this help? Keep the questions coming if you have them!
While doing locust post it put alot of pressure on the abdomen and the private part and so ejaculated i lost my energy there , i was unwanted , unexpected 😢

Kate, how do you train your back to take a bend like that? I have been working on my backbends for years and I can't seem to get deeper.
