Dr. Mike, you just explained years worth of knowledge that I wasn't able to learn all through high school and 3 years of undergrad all in an 11 minute video. Thank you so much.

Wish I had found your channel sooner when trying to understand biochemistry! I’ve spent the last 3 days reading the same chapters, feeling like I’m hitting my head against the wall. You took my whole chapter and broke it down so clearly I’m less than 12min! You’re amazing!

Your Kreb cycle video coupled with this (hugely beneficial) clear ETC video have really shown me quite the depths with a hint of ease! @@Kindergartenkids-z7tyeah! we have quite an interesting curriculum. i’m in first year in first sem, so we’re recalling the basic sciences (i.e., biochem, physiology, histology, anatomy) with clinical applications. we also have pbl (problem-based learning) where we dissect cases, do history taking, and such. in second sem, we still have the same courses but more complicated and with more clinical application plus some community medical services to finally interact with patients.

Brilliant! Thank you for educating me on my search for all things "where the heck did my youthful energy go". I a pre-diabetic, unfortunately. I wish i knew the biology of humans when I was a child - perhaps I would not have eaten so many boxes of Girl Scout cookies! I try my best to do a keto diet, and have even water fasted for three days on several occasions. But keto diet lowers my energy into hell. It is unsustainable for more than a few weeks at a time and I return to some form of carbs. No carbs for weeks and my blood sugar remains at 115 or more. I am desperate to understand what is wrong in my body, liver, cells, and fatty acids to cause unrelenting high blood sugar. When I have a boatload of carbs at the end of a month of keto diet, my blood sugar will drop to 80s for a few days and then return to nightmare. I very much look forward to learning more on your channel, and all others reading my story, beware...high fructose corn syrup is the devil, and constant carbs will lead to very poor health.
