Also, taking into consideration that I don't have the funds or equipment to get started. Yes, I may have answered my question but wanted to know if you have any other advice.

    People need to realize just because you have eleven hrs to drive on your clock it doesn’t mean you will be able to drive the eleven hrs because of time management you need to figure out we’re your going to park for the night and if you’re primary stop doesn’t work out then you need a back up place to stop. One you forgot to mention,,you gotta have a plan!!!!! Alot of these companies are out here literally trying to get their money and don't care if you get yours. Meaning you can have all these factors you said checked and yet still not making the money. Brokers look out for themselves. Also to piggy back what you said,have common sense to know you gotta exit in 3 miles get in the correct lane ahead of time. Hard to get over with a long trailer and truck just to say the least.

    The droneshot at the TA Express in Fairview, KS. Run hopper bottom out of their once in awhile. The driving long hours is a VERY good point. Thats the problem on the 18 wheeler side. A lot of people get a Class A thinking they're going to make big money, but cant handle the long distances. I always tell people considering it, if they can't stand a 1 hour drive, don't do it. The trucking industry is not for the faint of heart.

      @HotshotMacc  Месяц назад

      This setup you’re commenting on isn’t a non-CDL setup; it’s registered as a combined weight of 45,000 lbs. For non-CDL drivers, the maximum allowable weight is typically 26,000 lbs for the vehicle, with a combined weight of 26,000 lbs or less, depending on your state’s regulations. Please look into my older videos where I discuss non-CDL operations and setups!

    • @HotshotMacc

      It all depends on the direction you’re looking to go. Leased on? Own authority? Do you already have a truck etc. But I would say between 20-30k depending on your financial situation and to have at least 10k in reserves after you’ve started.

    Dude,,,,to make this work and actually make any money you have to forsake everything else or you will fail
    I don’t think most people really understand just what you are giving up ie- family, friends, religion, clubs, recreation, everything. In reality you are actually trading your life for money, think about that real carefully and the better you are the more work they will push your way. Which means more of your limited life you are selling away and can never get back.

    • @HotshotMacc
      @HotshotMacc  4 месяца назад

      You're absolutely right, man. The sacrifices are real, and not everyone realizes how much you give up until you're living it-time with family, friends, even your own personal life. It can feel like you're trading your life for a paycheck. But at the end of the day, it's all a choice, and that’s the thing about this business. Everyone’s situation is different, and so is their business model. Personally, I don’t plan on being a driver forever. I see this as a stepping stone. Some people choose to go all in, while others, like me, are working towards something bigger. It all comes down to the choices we make.

      I think it comes down to if it's a good fit for you. I work for the dot in my States and just recently got my CDL class a. I'm wanting to get into this but I have to be able to get me a truck and a trailer an insurance in all the other stuff that goes along with it. But my biggest thing is I don't a girlfriend wife or any kids. I mean I got a mom and a dad but I don't see them every single day. I think this would be a great fit for me at least do it for a few years and rack up some money. I'm tired of working for a limited paycheck. I can't even get overtime at my job because all they pay is comp time. Which just gives me more time off to sit at home and do nothing with no one. The only person I would have to consider is my dog which I would just take him along with me. But I really think something like this would be a good fit for me and other people in my situation. It will give me a chance to hopefully rack up some good money. Some of the people I work with is a DOT used to drive trucks and got a family and chose to take a pay cut and come work at the dot. I actually know a guy that was driving trucks making like $2,200 a week bring home and now he makes like $640 a week bring home but he told me he was staying gone all the time. So now he's traded money for less money but now he is home every afternoon to see his kids. It's all about perspective and what's important to you
