BUILDING ON A RICH HISTORY
On This Tour We Explore A Beautiful Historic Camp that opened its doors in 1922, and for 75 years it was a popular destination for families from low income neighborhoods of Toronto. Scores of people came to The Camp, to stay in its cabins and enjoy its natural beauty. This Beautiful Camp became the backdrop of family adventures, and provided much sought after social support for children and mothers.
Even after the camp fell into disrepair and eventually shut down. the memories it generated remained and helped press forward the dream to restore and rejuvenate The Camp to a community gathering space. This dream is now becoming a reality through the commitment and imagination of like-minded people.
The new Camp will respect its history, while improving the well-being, arts and culture, and social innovation opportunities in the region.

I enjoy his videos so much as he takes his time,videos all the good stuff,does not get you dizzy trying to watch (I just hate when they spin the camera around so fast,and I really like his voice as it is so soothing.!!
I saw this video was 101 minutes and didn't think I'd watch it all. But the more I watched I forgot about the time! It was so pretty and interesting there. I do hope the place gets redone and reopens. Such a great place for kids and families, maybe low income? Thanks for a wonderful video Brandon. Three thumbs up!!!

I have been watching your videos from almost when you started your channel.
I have to say it was awesome to see this one pop up. I went to this camp as a kid in the 80's, it brought back so many memories. The first cabins you went to up on the hill. I stayed in the one on the left. Back the the counselors used to tell all the kids a story about a guy called old man Bolton, a guy who would get you if you suck out of your cabin at night to try to keep the kids from sneaking out, needless to say it did not work for me. I sure am glad old man Bolton did not get me lol, But a girl found me and I had my first ever summer romance. Thanks Brandon for bring back so many good memories. life was Great back then.

Omg Bolton camp... We went every yr one side was the girls the other side was the boys over the was the mothers camp w baby's some of the foundation is where the counselor lived...the giant building was the dining hall
I hope they do fix it kids today don't know what they r missing

4:05 reminds me of Friday the 13th, with Jamie Lee Curtis, screaming outside of the camp ground. Only part I remembered, as i was a small kid, & woke up in middle of night to go to the bathroom & dad was watching the movie. & like with all kids, you're told to hurry & get back in bed.
