OMG they actually did it! Many of us, like me thought it would be yet another Pixar bomb. But it turned out to be a guaranteed hit! I saw it a few weeks ago, and i abseloutely loved it! 😁👍
Loved the movie a lot, but if I had to give it one criticism I think it should have been longer. It felt like it was speeding through its narrative. So I wish it could have gotten like an extra 10 minutes to allow it to slow down at certain points and let the audience take in everything it’s doing/saying. Overall, REALLY great movie though!
I kept my expectations suuuper low because I know sequels can make or break a franchise-however, I’m so glad it turned out great!! …not sure if I’d want a third one though
We really dont need another toy story so im kinda hoping it flops, but i do want them to succeed with more original movies. Toy story had had the perfect ending, so this feels like its going to undo all of that so they can make some guaranteed money because people like the series and arent gonna want to miss it.
@@GLTCHDGDit could work if and only if it completely refocused on another character. For example: the kid from the first movie, we know he was the garbage man in the third. What was he doing during that time? How did he grow and change? I would love to see a movie which showed his character arc. That would’ve been great for Toy Story 4, a spinoff which shows his growth. Idk he’s just interesting.
I’m with you, this movie was a wonderful continuation of one of my favorite Pixar movies. It truly continued the story in a great way while also making it feel like a natural continuation. Heck, I would say this is the best Pixar sequel since Toy Story 3. Also, I didn’t know that Joy was going through some sort of negative arc in similarly to Luz in this film. Okay, I know that she was dealing with some stress with being pushed out of headquarters, Anxiety taking over Riley, Fear, Anger, and Disgust to the point that caused her lash out, but thankfully did not result in a characters going separate ways before climax moment, and she possibly the saddest line in the film when she says “Maybe this is what happens when you grow up, you feel less joy”, but the fact you compared to Liz’s arc is honestly shocking. The only other Disney character who went through a similar-ish arc to Luz is actually Simba from The Lion King. But flipping things over on the positive side, possibly the funniest scene in the movie is the scene when Anger tries to grab stuff out of Pouchy, who is basically a combination of Backpack from Dora the Explorer and Toodles from Mickey Mouse Clubhouse, and Pouchy just breaks character. That was absolutely hilarious.
There was a scene in the inside out 2 movie where we saw Grace and Bree’s, Riley’s friend’s emotion’s in the second movie. Also in the first movie we see Riley’s parents emotion’s in the movie. And in the beginning of the credits of the first movie we see some other characters emotions. Also the reason inside out doesn’t really focus on other characters emotions is because the movie focuses on Riley and her story with her emotions
I’d be perfectly happy with another sequel era for Pixar, we took the first one for granted. The facts are irrefutable, the sequel era produced some great movies. If sequels make the job of making a good movie easier on Pixar, that’s the way to go.
It was such a amazing movie Anxitey my favorite character. No does that mean they should do more squeals? No but aside from Toy Story 2 & 3 Finding Dory & Cars 3 it honestly the only squeals I like
Ok im just gonna say it. I hate that ppl are saying its a comeback for pixar. When did Pixar fall off? Turning red, soul, and Luca were all released on disney plus when they released but were still amazing films. Light-year wasnt amazing but still good. Its just popular to hate on Disney right now i guess
@@traviscunningham7062 which is weird, I love dreamworks but I will acknowledge that Pixar has amazing movies. Plus DreamWorks felloff for like 5 yrs making boss baby and home. What brought them back creatively was puss in boots 2 and the bad guys. But pixar never fell off. Sure they got a little sequel happy but those all were still good movies besides cars 2. But it's just an anti Disney hate train going on. Illumination was never on that level and ppl used to hate their movies. Now we have ppl praising the minions movies because it's not Disney. Besides sing, despicable me, and Mario, illumination doesn't really have anything. When these studios make one or 2 amazing movies, ppl act like they are now better than Pixar, it's idiotic
I actually agree with this. People need to realise that every studio has ups and downs but some people acted like pixar will never be great again because x studio exists. Eg dreamworks comeback was because of films like the bad guys and puss in boots 2 but on the flip side they have Ruby gillman, kfp 4 and megamind 2. It's good to acknowledge the highs of a studio but that shouldn't diminish other studios during their lull periods just to support a narrative that doesn't exist because they can always bounce back every now and then and make incredible films. Pixar is still amazing and inside out 2 proves that they still have a lot of creativity and powerful storytelling left in them.
@@markthepro4818 I liked Ruby Gilman and KFP4. I do think there is a problem with ORIGINAL IP. How many new animated movies have been successful in the last 5 yrs? Puss in boots 2, KFP4, inside out 2, minions 2, despicable me 4 are the only successful animated movies since 2020. I wish bad guys made more. It was classic DreamWorks. It was really good

Yeah, both Luz and Simba had to watch their dads die before their eyes..... 😭😭😭😭😭😭

Well, Pete Doctor did say that despite having a couple of sequels planned, they also have plan to still make original movies. Thank god.
