Thank you. The list is a great help. I have totally overlooked ‚talking on the phone‘.
I would like to add a category:
First aid / basic med skills
Cleaning wounds, treating colds, what to do if somebody has a concussion, fever, broken leg, when and how to call a doctor, how to recognize strokes or heart attacks, natural herbs, when and how to use antibiotics, when not to move a body, etc.

You are welcome! I am glad this was helpful to you.
Ah yes! First Aid. An important one! I included this one on the blog, but cut it from the video since it was starting to get too long. Great examples, thanks for sharing!

Such great ideas! Our 13 year old has been dog walking for 3 years now - time management for work and school commitments, communications with clients (she uses my email/WhatsApp), money management. The envelope system has worked wonderfully (long term savings, short term, tithes, spending money). Thank you for all of your wisdom! My challenge is letting little into the kitchen.

Thank you! Oh, dog walking, that is a good way for kids to make a little money. I hadn't thought of that! I'm going to add that one in the blog post. Thanks for sharing these!
I hear you about little kids in the kitchen, ha! They love "helping", but it's definitely more work to include them!

Great video! You covered a lot. Mine are just at the age where they want to learn how to wash dishes and do the laundry from start to finish.

Thanks! Oh nice! I remember the moment for me as my kids started getting older when I realized that their help was really becoming a big contribution! It's a good feeling!

Love ❤️ your video!! Great list of skills… I think our kids should be able to do things without any electronics devices.

Thank you! Absolutely agree on that one! Being able to entertain oneself without a screen is becoming a lost art!
